How large would you say it was? Using any kind of reference points you could refer to?
The only reference point I have is that it looked to be directly over the town of Dublin, and covered most of the lights of the town. It may have been farther away than Dublin, but definitely wasn't closer. If it were on the other side of town it was, of course, even more vast.
How convinced were you that the lights were all part of a single object and why were you so convinced?
The lights were very close to each other in a line, maybe ever so slightly curved, and were evenly spaced, almost looked to be touching to our eyes as there was very little space in between them. When the lights came on the second time, it had rotated slightly, and all were still in the same location relative to each other.
We were both stunned to see it and are still wondering what the heck it was.
