The object was spotted by the pilot of Olympic Airways flight 266 from Athens, and the sighting was corroborated by staff at Athens Airport and a nearby Greek air force base. Pilots of two other passenger jets also reported seeing the body.The eyewitnesses described it as looking like a large star, although it was moving erratically and constantly changing shape.Two fighter jets were sent to investigate the sighting over the Greek capital in November 2007 but the object shot up into the sky and vanished before they could get a clear view.

Let’s just say I live in Edmonton and after the so called meteor event over a month ago, I found it interesting that CNN did a report on breaking news of the event and then removed the video and hid the story in archives after a mere hour. Check for the link and the video....IT WAS REMOVED!!!

Just got a phonecall from someone who saw a massive object light up the entire Northwest sky over Edmonton, Alberta, Canada.
Apparently - and this is only hearsay at this point - but police have closed some roads in Edmonton because chunks of a meteor have landed all over the city!
Did anyone else see this ? Or any extra information ?
The person who called me saw it - he said it so bright and intense it was scary. He said there was a massive flash and he thought that the flash was actually an impact! I said no way dude - typically a bright meteor flash is resistant from the atmosphere, and an actual impact would be really rare.
He was about 1 hour south of Edmonton as this happened so he could not verify the potential impact location.
I thought I would post this in the UFO section since meteors are technically UFOs.

Hey guys & gals.. I haven’t posted or replied in years but I think that this is a good time.
A bit of background of info about me. I have been employed by Lockheed martin for the better part of 5+ years and do not foresee myself leaving my position anytime soon.
I am not in the scientific sector. I am in the financial field(internal audits, auditing budgets, showing ways of cutting costs to maximize their budgets etc..)
Furthermore, I am the person who has proposals for projects and requests for more money handed to me where in turn I look them over, audit them for mistakes and mathematical errors and if such a request should even be forwarded to the higher ups.. Etc.. etc.. etc..
The reason why I just wrote 2 paragraphs about what I do is due to the comment I am bout to make..
I wish everyone would start thinking a bit differently. I will not go into great detail or description but many of the “Ufo’s” that are reported, video-taped and seen are very much MAN MADE!
JPL, Lockheed & Boeing are just a few of the companies out there that have crafts and vehicles that if seen by a common person would cause great stir and distress due to the fact that they THINK they have just saw a UFO from a different planet.
WRONG!!!
Many crafts are MAN-MADE! Rather than sit on Abovetopsecret forums and speculate and guess why don’t you guys take as much time into studying various reports, releases and information that is very public and out there. it only will take hard work, dedication and will-power to find them as these articles, releases, documents and information is not read by 98% of the world therefore there is no need for these publications to be made overly public.
Same as the Department of Agriculture reports, they are out there, but you have to know what your looking for.
Anyway.. I will leave you guys off with this. With in the next 3-4 quarters there will be “new” technology that will be made public, there will be no saucers or planet jumping ships but there will be drastic and significant changes to what is “normal” to us as of 2/15/09...
Although these “new” technologies will be made public they will not be utilized until many years later.
For more information I would suggest reading science publications and/or joining science blogs, or threads.
IF you guys will be able to “prove” to the moderator of the thread or blog that you know what your talking bout than they will send you an invite and you will be privy to conversations among VERY intellectual men/women that specialize and work certain fields.
You guys are looking for UFO or proof of UFOS. THIS WILL NEVER HAPPEN, THERE WILL BE NO DISCLOSURE!!!!
However, if you begin talking with people that are intellectual, educated and in the field(physics, propulsion, propulsion research, zero-gravity propulsion etc..) than you can deduce from the conversation or correspondence that you may have with these people on what they are currently being paid to work on.
Again, they won’t come right out and tell you what they do but if you engage them in a matter which catches their attention and if you both share and exchange ideas than by all means these people will share certain things with you they may not regularly.
Another problem that “Ufologists” have is that their chief concern is to find proof or evidence of ufos and aliens, they do not do this for the sake of man-kind but for their own gains..
You think Stanton Friedman is researching ufos because he wants to improve man kind?!?! I am sure that is a smalllllllll part of it but at the end of the day he lines his pockets with millions of dollars in speeches and books he authored.
So, instead of looking for proof of whatever you guys may think is out there YOU WONT FIND IT..... Especially in todays day in age. Maybe back in the 40; and early-mid 50’s you may have found a paper-trail, today there are internet’s that are themselves classified and are only accessible by maybe two-three people, everything important is very well protected and in no way possible to access..
Also, there is NO ONE in this world that knows everything. there is a handful of people that know a little piece of the story, they do not know each other and what they know may seem insignificant to them but when you put all of the pieces of the story together you may have something monumental.
Think about it guys... By you guys trying to find some type of proof out there bout ufos or aliens or advanced technology you will never find it. you would have a better chance finding a piece of sand in the middle of the ocean that you threw in 10 years ago, that’s the best analogy I can think of..

Titled “Canada's UFOs: The Search for the Unknown” the files include correspondence, reports, memos and procedures, some of which specifically deal with UFOs. Exopolitics Toronto , who has been monitoring the Canadian Government UFO website since its inception, “The Canadian files do not simply list UFO sightings; they describe actions, meetings and inter-departmental memoranda generated by Canadian officials that attempt to make sense of the considerable onslaught of UFO sightings as well as referencing American problems with keeping abreast of UFO sightings.”
For example, a
titled "Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) - Investigations", was released which stated:
a number of investigations of the reports suggest the possibility of UFOs exhibiting some unique scientific information or advanced technology which could possibly contribute to scientific or technical research.
Another memo details a UFO sighting at Shag Harbor witnessed by member of the Royal Canadian Mounted Police and six civilian witnesses on the night of October 4, 1967. The
how “[w]itnesses reported seeing an object 60 feet in length moving in an easterly direction before it descended rapidly into the water, making a bright splash on impact.” The report continued: “A single white light appeared on the surface of the water for a short period of time. Not all of the information made available through the Canadian archives is completely new to UFO researchers - many having been released in the 1980s in 16mm microfilm form through libraries in Canada and the U.S. The Library and Archive website, however, now provides a comprehensive online resource for the world public and media to scrutinize the Canadian Government UFO X-Files. Canada first began to release UFO files through its online archive in October 2007, and these have quickly increased to its present level of 9500 files. Canada therefore joins a select group of countries that have so far publicly released UFO files through government sponsored websites.
As President Obama heads to Canada on February 19, he could take time from his busy schedule to ask Prime Minister Steven Harper for tips on how the U.S. might release to the public its own classified UFO X-Files.

Hopi Prophecy Stages
Here is a general run down of the different stages contained within the Hopi Prophecy that has some parallels to the Mayan’s 2012 prophecy.
“This is the First Sign: We are told of the coming of the white-skinned men, like Pahana, but not living like Pahana men who took the land that was not theirs. And men who struck their enemies with thunder.
“This is the Second Sign: Our lands will see the coming of spinning wheels filled with voices. In his youth, my father saw this prophecy come true with his eyes — the white men bringing their families in wagons across the prairies.”
“This is the Third Sign: A strange beast like a buffalo but with great long horns, will overrun the land in large numbers. These White Feather saw with his eyes — the coming of the white men’s cattle.”
“This is the Fourth Sign: The land will be crossed by snakes of iron.”
“This is the Fifth Sign: The land shall be criss-crossed by a giant spider’s web.”
“This is the Sixth sign: The land shall be criss-crossed with rivers of stone that make pictures in the sun.”
“This is the Seventh Sign: You will hear of the sea turning black, and many living things dying because of it.”
“This is the Eight Sign: You will see many youth, who wear their hair long like my people, come and join the tribal nations, to learn their ways and wisdom.
“And this is the Ninth and Last Sign: You will hear of a dwelling-place in the heavens, above the earth, that shall fall with a great crash. It will appear as a blue star. Very soon after this, the ceremonies of my people will cease.”
Which stage do you think we are currently on. Keep in mind that this is most likely in direct reference to North America.
