As I mentioned in an earlier post, I am on a campaign to get neighbors to mount lighted flags to fly 24/7 till the USA can get it’s act back together...
Well, I picked up some 3 LED Solar Spotlights at Wally World for $10 a pair. With a power outage the other night, (from a car hitting a pole) I was going to get out the kerosene lanterns, when I had an idea.... Solar lights! I went out in the yard and brought a pair of them in, shined them off the light ceiling, and they did excellently! Lasted all night - put them back out the next day and they recharged fully. If TSHTF, these could be very handy and do not require any fuel or batteries. Oh, and I picked up one and used it as a flashlight going out to check on the chickens - works great! So now I will consider that I have 10 solar powered flashlights for general use whenever I need them, and yard effects until I do.

What an excellent idea, for the fancy solar flashlights are expensive, and your price is no more than a cheap flashlight.
In the past, we could use the car battery and a wire to hook up the headlight of an auto.
LOL, was that only from Model A’s? Could have been, don’t know if it will work with newer headlights.
