Solar lights! I went out in the yard and brought a pair of them in, shined them off the light ceiling, and they did excellently! Lasted all night - put them back out the next day and they recharged fully. If TSHTF, these could be very handy and do not require any fuel or batteries. Oh, and I picked up one and used it as a flashlight going out to check on the chickens - works great! So now I will consider that I have 10 solar powered flashlights for general use whenever I need them, and yard effects until I do.<<<

What an excellent idea, for the fancy solar flashlights are expensive, and your price is no more than a cheap flashlight.

In the past, we could use the car battery and a wire to hook up the headlight of an auto.

LOL, was that only from Model A’s? Could have been, don’t know if it will work with newer headlights.

Yep, it will still work with any of them...

You bring back fond memories - My choices for my first vehicle was between a Model A and a 1947 Jeep. Father clinched the decision when he told me that if I got the Model A, I could not count on him coming to the rescue if I broke down. (I know he would have, but it told me his choice)

Have had a Jeep affair ever since - Today, we even have his and hers Jeeps as our vehicles - Of course the Mrs. has a ‘sissy’ Liberty but I have my TJ...
