LOL! Hubby is from NY, around the Rochester area. He has nothing but bad things to say about the weather there. I think he must just be remembering the bad stuff, because it can’t be THAT bad. Especially the summers, compared to our blistering heat here. (Bakersfield)
Ummm, yes it can. The weather in NYS is early winter, mid-winter, late winter, and construction.
The summers can be nice but July and Aug can get pretty hot and oppressive. You can NEVER count on decent weather for any event.
However, we have an adequate growing season, grow great apples and grapes. The climate is good for them.
