No, I won’t have to see this one through, as I have already beaten the odds and lasted 3 years longer than they said, all due to Freeper prayers.
That is why I can’t worry about how much of this or that to store, as it won’t be needed here, my family all lives in other areas and this is not the place to be in a disaster.
A couple months ago, the electric was off for 10 hours and I had to call for help, I now have a few hours of back up oxygen, in containers, but what happens then?
Without the oxygen, I can’t walk out of the room.

My husband came home from work yesterday saying that the increasing number of people he's meeting that are worried about the future and doing some survival planning is pretty amazing. He works with a group of non-reactionary, down-to-earth people. Many are older (and I think younger people are more prone to knee jerk reactions). And almost all are planning in some way, whether it's storing food, buying guns and ammo, making their homes into a fortress, buying silver, or planning an escape route - or a combination. I think these reactions are based on common sense that this cycle of spend-spend-spend without saving cannot continue.
In other words, you're not alone!
And mods, yes - this thread may be of more value than you can anticipate right now. It needs to stay active and available.
