Gum Drop Day

Gum Drop Cookies
Ingredients
1 cup Shortening - 1 teaspoon Baking powder
1 cup Brown sugar - 1/2 teaspoon Baking soda
1 cup Sugar - 1/2 teaspoon Salt
2 Eggs - 2 cups Oats
1 teaspoon Vanilla - 2 cup Gum drops squared,
floured
1 1/2 cup Flour

Instructions for Gum Drop Cookies
Mix first 5 ingredients and beat well. In separate bowl,
sift together next 4 ingredients; add to creamed
mixture. Add oats and gum drops. Drop by spoonfuls onto
well greased cookie sheets. Bake at 375 degrees for
10 minutes.
