The Coast Guard really wants her; the physical is the last hurdle. It had to wait until she turned 18, or I’d have had to go with her and sign a million things, just as if she were 6! Their basic training is in New Jersey, and after that it will depend on what additional training she’s assigned. She said Gunnery training is in Maine!
She better bundle up!
