Thanks for the ping
LOST is brain candy to me.

I agree. Hence the reason I’m gonna be major depressed after next season ends (the last season).
There is some talk now about a “Lost” movie....that might tie everything together and give answers to anything unanswered after the series ends. Hmmmmm...

Then they have the absolute best acting of any TV show ever. It is like watching a great movie with great acting every single episode.

Best show ever put on the small screen. I'll second that!

I agree completely. It’s been a momumental achievement. I just hope they make sense of everything in season six. Our sons are afraid the writers will default to (gasp) aliens. It would be much better if they stuck to the Biblical overtones. Every episode is just great; each one a morality tale unto itself.

It’s actually more fun to watch the series a second time. So much makes sense that was lost in the first viewing.

They should be with the Others - although I can’t recall spotting them in any other scenes since then.
I’ll have to go back to the episodes when Kate, Jack, and Sawyer were being held prisoner there - maybe the kids showed up in some of those shows?

Best show ever put on the small screen.”
amen!

Now that I’m convinced New Locke is smoke monster it gives that scene where Ben was “judged” by SM alot more meaning.
So - Locke is “waiting” upstairs right?
But SM shows up, commands Ben - in the shape of Alex - to do whatever Locke tells him.
Then when Ben goes back up Locke acts like “oh - hey - what happened?
LOL! Ain’t smokie a clever monster?
Next season is the last one?
please guys reconsider this...(:

Lost , for all of its faults, and knowing we're all just being manipulated with the endless story lines, is certainly head and shoulders better than anything on tv or even the movies.....its actors are willing to go on a show and know that their parts are temporary, yet they do a great job anyway.....
Eliz. Mitchell was OUTSTANDING the other night.....and James grows more and more appealing physically and emotionally every show....

Yeah, where’s the season 6 thread? haha
To: Scotswife
7 months late, but you can stream it in HD now. Just went on a 2 week Lost binge and caught all 5 seasons.

Ok seriously now, 24 hrs to go and we need a season 6 thread!!! (and don’t ask me to start it, I don’t have good luck with such things...)
To: Citizen of the Savage Nation
I am so excited! (and sad) because it is the last season.
We DO need a new Season 6 thread—where is Lucky9teen? I will start one tonight if they haven’t done one by then.

"I am so excited! (and sad) because it is the last season." Me too but when I considered that most series I like that have made it past 5 years usually start sucking hard at that point made me give a bit of thanks for the creators to realize they should go out on top and not milk a dead cow for the sake of making money!

I agree, the writers know what they are doing.
I think the sadness part is that once this is over, I will miss the mystery and wonderment—the “not knowing all the answers”. i have done a few rewatches ans it is still fun trying to fugure things out about how this will all come to fruition.
