In the season premiere, the remaining island survivors start to feel the effects of the aftermath of moving the island, and Jack and Ben begin their quest to reunite the Oceanic 6 in order to return to the island with Locke's body in an attempt to save their former fellow castaways. And Hurley and Sayid are on the run from the cops after stumbling into trouble at the safehouse; the island survivors come under attack by unknown forces; and an old friend offers some shocking advice to Kate in order to ensure that "the lie" remain a secret.

So who was the woman w/ Ben at the end? Are we supposed to remember her?

The woman at the end was Miss Hawking, the woman Desmond tried to buy the ring from in the episode where he became unstuck in time (Flashes Before Your Eyes). She also has some connection to the head monk in Desmond’s monastery.

Best line of the night: Ana-Lucia to Hurley. “Libby says hi.”

She was the lady in "Flashes Before Your Eyes", that Desmond had gone to, to buy a ring for Penelope.


The jewelry lady? I think she has knowledge of everything that will happen and she knows that trying to stop it is futile, as "the universe has a way of course correcting."


After she spells out for Desmond everything he will do (the boat race, reaching the Island, entering the numbers, turning the key in the Hatch), she says, "And if you don't do those things, Desmond David Hume, every single one of us is dead."

Note: that visitation reminds me that Claire visited Kate which I’m almost certain means she is dead. But, I don’t remember seeing her die yet and I have spent the last six months watching every episode. Does anyone remember that happening?

Or, is this the Island projecting a Claire image to Kate?

The "other person" Sun blames for Jin's death (in addition to her father) is Kate. She's plotting her revenge against her.

She also talked about how she wants to see her daughter and Aaron playing together. She's the one behind the lawyers looking for a maternity test.

She's trying to trick Kate into returning to her old murdering ways, and is going to try to make it look like somebody else is ordering the tests. Probably going to try to pin it on Ben. If Kate kills Ben, Sun gets them both out of the way for good.

LOL! All you ladies think Sawyer is "hot" and maybe he is, but he's a total wimp. Everybody beats him up - Jack, Anna Lucia even Hurley! He's a fake tough guy.

The only guy he can push around is Faraday the tie-wearing physicist, and I'm betting that he gets fed up and punches Sawyer out! 8-)

It may have been when Locke’s group was attached at the Others’ homes. Claire was in a building that was blown up, and Sawyer carried her back into Ben’s home. The way Miles treated her seemed to indicate that Miles knew something was different or unusual about Claire.

Interesting point. Didn’t we see her wake up and respond to Hurley bringing in Aron? And didn’t she also run away with the others when the military troup were sucked up by the smoke monster?

Wow, that’s really rouge, if you think about it. She just called Kate up, had her over for tea and, if you’re right, lied to her face, halo gleaming brightly.

Thing is, your suggestion makes for an outstanding plot thread in what would otherwise be a relatively blah supporting role.

The Anna-Lucia visit was good. But I’ve forgotten who Libby was. Help me out here.

I was happy with the show but if the whole season is about them getting back and the finale is their return to the island I’m not going to be happy with the pacing. Surely they can get there in say 5 or 6 episodes. We can’t have 15 episodes covering 72 hours can we?

Libby is the one from the back section of the plane that Hurley liked and they kissed. She was killed by Michael.
