I was too young to remember the original tour, but did see it years later. It was that rebroadcast that prompted my mother’s comments about Jackie. “not the brightest of bulbs” was one of the more charitable descriptions my mother gave of her :)

The “spin” was she dumbed it down to be more like Marilyn (her chief opponent). She was also said to be on antidepressants (Valium). I bought it as I'd have needed it to stick with that crew. That family was a piece of work. However, Caroline just blew what remained of the spin’s credibility which is unfortunate.
