Hillary wore upholestery also last night. A silvery, greyish frock with a floweryish kinda damasky kinda print thing happening.
Wow! This thread is really hot! My husband said when he went to get coffee this morning, the guys were talking about the way Michelle looked yesterday. (I don’t know if they knew exactly what the problem was, but they knew something didn’t look right...:)
Agree. Suit is not necessary, nice, but not necessary.
I like that Stacy is not a ‘cookie cutter’ looker herself. No nose work, and she lets that little streak of grey (artfully) show. I really enjoy What Not to Wear...
My inner fear...that my kids will nominate me for a make over one of these days...
IMO, the dress looks good on her, she looks freezing cold, but not bad. In the close-up the dress is more flattering. See the women behind her in the seats? THEY know how to dress in church.
Not understanding why she doesn’t take cues from others and dress more classy. Maybe she was more tom-boyish as a kid. (but then so was Sarah Palin and look how she turned out)
My two favorite comments on the dress are: It looks like a chenille bedspread and she looks like she was run over by a duck.
This thread is hysterical - I especially loved Lucy and Ethel as bag ladies in post 164!
Please add me to your list, GOP Lady. It’s going to be a long four years ...
One word pretty much sums up her wardrobe:
gaudy
adjective, gaud⋅i⋅er, gaud⋅i⋅est.
1. cheaply showy in a tasteless way; flashy.
2. ostentatiously ornamented; garish.
Just got home, and yes, please, please add me to your list. We need something to distract us from this horrible reality!
Michelle’s brother is a current coach in Oregon. She made Barack play basketball with him before she agreed tp marry him, that’s the story.
Lol...I sent GOP-Lady an email...are you crazy??
I saw the Bamster playing/shooting around w/some reporter types back during the campaign. They never actually showed his shot (into the net/off backboard) but the camera (of course) was on him. His hands (after he shot the ball) were all wrong. Like his dancing, he must have got his hoopster genes from the Dunham side of the family...
I said the same thing when he came through Indiana.
He was all flat-handed, no goose neck after the shot. (Basketball mom here)...
You are added, nanetteclaret! :-)
