Dirk Vander Ploeg, the Publisher of UFO Digest, recently asked me if I knew of alien abductions having been stopped by the utterance of the name of Jesus. He told me that 'apparently this information is being withheld by Mufon and other reporters, investigators etc.'
I reminded him that I had written about the possibility of such occurrences in several articles including, Extraterrestrials Tremble at the Name of Jesus, UFO Digest March 29, 2007, and more recently The Birth of Christ caused the Extraterrestrial Extraterrestrials Tremble at the Name of Jesus, UFO Digest March 29, 2007, and more recently The Birth of Christ caused the Extraterrestrial Fallen Angels to Tremble December 3, 2008.
The word of God tells us that demons (as well as fallen angels, i.e. extraterrestrials) tremble at the name of Jesus (James 2:19) because God highly exalted Him and bestowed on Him the name which is above all names (Philippians 2:9). At the name of Jesus, every knee shall bow of those on the earth, and those under the earth and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father (Philippians 2:10).
My own article last year, My Anonymous CIA Source: The Real Story of UFOs, UFO Digest, 6/16/08, revealed that my source in Washington who worked for the CIA for 25 years after working, I believe, for the top secret Operation Paperclip after WWII which brought Nazi scientists to America, some of whom were supposedly involved in flying saucer research, and who was in charge of security for President Kennedy’s visit to Germany in the early sixties, and was confidant to later Presidents, told me to “stay with my UFO writings about the Bible.” He then told me that “you have the truth. All else is opinion.” This statement from a man whom I trust and who served in the highest echelons.

What’s to research? How does one research the connection between aliens from possibly non-existant vistations, and fallen angels (whose existence cannot be scientifically verified in this life)? I’m not sure exactly what research you’d like me to do here.
I’ve simply said that I’ve seen nothing whatsoever to convince me that the two are connected in any way. That isn’t a “rigid opinion” ... that’s a fact. I haven’t seen anything convincing, or even thought provoking, on the subject.
Please, show me the volumes of research showing alien and fallen angels are one-and-the-same.

That said, wasn't it just conjecture on his part as to how a near pass-by might have occurred and how it might explain certain Biblical and historical occurrences?
It's been a month, and the mp3 is long deleted, but my recollection is that he was pretty certain of what he said.

All I know is that I don't believe in any that stuff; bigfoot, aliens, Nessie, the danger of fluoridated water, or Atlantis. But I listen to Coast to Coast whenever I'm driving late at night and I think George Noory's guests are fascinating. I guess I'm just amazed that such people can take themselves seriously, and I don't see their lunacy as being as seditious as the 9/11 Truthers.
I've even watched quite a few episodes of UFO Files and MonsterQuest on the History Channel. I don't believe a lick of it is true, but for some reason the possibilities are intriguing.

If you really don’t know why they fear his name, you’re in as much trouble as the aliens.
They don't drive 13.7 light years just to be turned away by some Scripture-spouting zealot. This will only make them really angry and we do not need aliens to be p*ssed at us right now. Things are bad enough as it is.
When you come that distance, you expect results.
Humor them. Go for a little ride in their spacecraft. Listen to what they have to say. Space travel is no fun and a little inter-galactic hospitality costs nothing.

First, this assumes a connection between fallen angels and aliens — which cannot be established.
Second, this assumes that those claiming alien abductions aren’t simply whackjobs, publicity-seekers, or confused (though well-intentioned) individuals — which also cannot be fully established.
Third — that number is ridiculous. It represents is fully 1% of the population of the U.S. People in the U.S. do not claim alien abduction at the rate of 1 in 100 people.

Interestingly enough, the Enoch Scroll was part of the Dead Sea Scrolls found at Qumran.
And, IIRC, the prophecy of Enoch, like certain parts of Daniel’s prophecy, was said to be “bound up” until the last days.

I don’t..., really. I just leave it as it is, saying I just don’t know about it. I can take the facts as they are, but I can’t go beyond it without getting into things that I just don’t know about. It’s really detailed, though. You gotta say that.
When you see how Jesus walked in to the room where the disciples were (after His resurrection) and also you see where Moses and Elijah appeared on the Mount of Transfiguration, and you consider that believers will be raptured (i.e., “taken up” to be with the Lord in the air), and when you consider the fact of the “dead” being raised first (”re-formed” again with their bodies, at that time) — there’s a lot that we don’t know about the “mechanics” of how things happen and what they look like and so on. But, we do know that these things happened and will happen. We just don’t have enough “experience” with it all to make solid pronouncements about what is actually going on.

There is absolutely zero reason to believe that it is any other way. - We and the "heavenly hosts"\angels are the only created beings there are.
You have such a wonderful capacity and tendency to be
wholesale WRONG.
The research was done by a major polling organization with excellent expert input as to the design of that part of their standard questionnaire for a regular session of their polling.
The questions were not per se overtly about abductions. They were much more clever than that.
They compiled quite a list of questions which dealt with phenomenon that was more or less exclusive . . . certainly close to exclusive and some clearly exclusively typical of abductees from a vast wealth of file data regarding abductees.
They wanted to know what the percentages would be for such folks in the national population.
IIRC, the percentages of the national population most probably to have experienced abductions was 3-4%
MORE THAN 1%! MUCH MORE THAN 1!
The research is solid.
And it has been affirmed by some whistle blowing operatives from some of such black ops who have asserted that the
3-4% figures are far too LOW compared to the actual reality.
Evidently, you REALLY ought to get out more.
At least your fingers should.
And, Enoch’s book was mentioned in the Bible a number of times as valid and authoritative while not considered Canon.
