I didn’t have it that bad, but I did have fawning coworkers. One of them said, “I just couldn’t believe it! Every time they said, ‘President Obama’ I was like oh my God!!!” Me too, but probably not for the same reasons.
One of the benefits of unemployment was no Obama talk!
Oh geez, here comes the Wal-mart family in for support. Pick up the jumbo juice box while you’re all there.

Ugh, I know what you mean. I did have a few funny times during it though. I teach 4th grade and when they introduced the past Presidents and they called Pres. Jimmy Carter’s name one of my boys said “Good Lord is he still alive, he was like President in the 70’s or something! He was a hippie!” It was all I could do not to die laughing. ;) It was a good day though, I was able to talk alot about the ceremony and the importance. Also, on Friday when we were doing our lessons on MLK jr. I did let my students know that he was a registered Republican and we talked about why he was a Republican... so my kids do get alot of history lessons from me, not just what they get from their textbooks.
LOL (sad laugh :)
People are crazy ... If I wake up tomorrow morning and the bills aren't paid and the sky isn't raining doughnuts I'm going to be VERY disappointed :)
