Right! I think her quality comes from performing raw real emotional aspect of a song. "Let It Be" sent chills through me when she did that song!
It does seem odd as potentially the judges wouldn't know the results from the 3rd set of 12 until the day before the wild cards are scheduled to perform.
I don't know, but I would guess not. I think the judges should give them a chance to sing whatever they wanted. It will be interesting to find out if the format would be an On-The-Spot sing off!
I would think the judges already know who they like and who they didn't OR who they need so that they can have their 'diversity'. Affirmative Action Idol.
The judges would just go from the last 12 results and amend their picks. But, do the contestants that remain know who will get another shot? They are only going to select 8 or 9 out of the remaining 24.
It just might. But, what about the band? It will really stink if they sing the same crap they already sang.
What do you mean this guy or gal ? the same adam lambert who has been singing in gay bars in LA as a drag queen for years??? Google Adam Lambert on youtube for more insight into this guy’s “back” story. American Idol is setting us up for a war between Danny Gokey Christian Middle American wholesomeness and Adam Lambert gay right to be the first Openly Gay Drag Queen American Idol. It is time for for hope and change in America after all.

Surely they will get some advanced notice so they can pick a different song...Simon said last night that they might bring back some that were voted off the past two weeks that had pick the wrong songs...so I wouuld think they would get a chance to remedy that.
Yea! Jason is a comin’!:)
T Y for the Thread/dreds/ heasds up re: his upcomin AI appearence!
Love his voice.:)
If you bothered to check to see who skateman was talking about, you would realize he was talking about Nathanial Marshall.
I like Jason, too - when he sticks to his genre. My fav is definitely DC.
Certainly they should not sing something they've already sung. Give them a day or two to prepare. However, how does this work if they pick a couple on the same night they hold the sudden death? Will they go stand-alone "no band" like they did in the final judging to get to the final 36?
This will be interesting, none the less, to see what happens.

Here is my list, keeping in mind that we don’t know who will be left from the third week, and I think there will be at least 3 possible picks from that week.
Tatiana Del Toro, mush as I dislike her, she can sing, I think one of the judges may bring her back.
Jackie Tohn, I think one of the judges may bring her back.
Anoop Desai
Matt Giraud
Ricky Braddy
Mishavonna Henson
Megan Corkrey
That would suggest that they know in advance that they will be a wild card.
They can pick the wild cards from the previous weeks and tell the last week to prepare two songs.
His parents look quite normal, and nice...mom is attractive...as I recall
BTW..I have it on very good authority that the secret formula for the wild card show has them bringing back TEN contestants.. Each judge will be allowed to nominate TWO, and Seacreast will get one nomination. And in lame effort to "look back"..actually "retro chique"..there will be a SURPRISE guest judge/picker..Yes, fans..Dunkleman will make an appearance and get to pick one wild card entrant..
Are you serious?
