Hi all...
Seems to me that there is a SERIOUS flaw in the format of last night's results show. Stay with me, here
We're going to pick the top guy, top gal, then the 2nd highest vote-getter, right?
OK, last night, first group of three come down. One girl, Jesse, is eliminated, the other, Allison goes through.
In the second group Ryan brings down, there are two girls, Jeanine and Megan. Jeanine goes immediately, then it comes down to Kris and Megan. Big drama!! NOT!!!
Because there was NO WAY it could have been Megan. Because if it was Megan, then the two remaining girls, Mishavonna and Jasmine, would have automatically been eliminated, because we can't have 3 girls going through.
Help me out here..it's too early for such "deep thought" but am I missing something?

WHo or what is "nufsed?"
Can we ban him from the AI thread?
We come here twice a week to escape from the madness around us, a brief respite from grieving for what is being done to our beloved country, and I have to put up with crapola from this putz? NO!!!

Finally got around to catching up this week’s shows off of the DVR...
What a heaping pile of mediocrity it was this week! For most of the first half of the show, I was wondering if the contestants couldn’t hear the monitors, because they were all so “off”.
That said, Adam was a shoe-in to move forward, and I’m glad he did. That boy has some serious “chops”, and if he can make the shift from “stage” to “recording artist”, he should be the one to beat.
Allison wouldn’t have been my top female choice (I’d have gone with Megan), but I don’t have a problem with her going forward. I’m annoyed that people didn’t vote for Megan as the top girl, though.
David Arch... er... Kris, I mean, was only “a’ight”. With only three moving forward, I think the voters made a mistake here. That makes them 2/3 each week so far. The deadweight will go quickly once the top 12 start performing, though.
Potential wildcards from this group: Megan, Kai, Mishavonna, and Nick/Norman. They may include Jasmine as well, despite how badly she bombed this week.

As soon as they narrowed it down to those two, I knew it was Kris, for exactly the reasons you mentioned.

Allison/Megan/Matt-the-Welder mesh Yech. If singing doesn't work out, she has a future in traveling carnivals ;)

Ju'Not sounded pretty good in the Hollywood round. He might be one of the stronger singers in the next batch.
Scott isn't that good of a singer--I can't remember any of his performances. All I know is that he has tunnel vision. That might be enough to get him into the Top 12, though.
Nathanial--I'm guessing that the judges won't be as free with the compliments with him as they were with Norman Gentle.

No, I thought the same thing and they did it last week, too, when it was Danny and Tatiana. I don’t get why they are doing the shoo-in last. Really was there any chance Adam was not going through?
They should be doing it the opposite, IMO. Shoo-in first, then the other iffy two.

I agree-would make it more interesting...as it is now, you can pretty much change the channel after the first two are announced since it’s a given who the third will be.

Nathanial--I'm guessing that the judges won't be as free with the compliments with him as they were with Norman Gentle. But Nathanial did give us this:
It was an extreme version of the same face I, and probably everyone, made when Tatiana came running out, too.
