LOL! The show that takes has beens (or never weres) and pretends they'll become country music stars. I saw parts of the first season. Didn't know there was a Gone Country 2. But I'll have to check in. Train wrecks are always so compelling to watch. ;-)
I started to laugh (well I did I laugh :), but that's not a bad gig.
It beats being unemployed.
BTW, Jonny. Justin is getting ready to marry a woman. I guess it’s true that some people can be cured of gayness. Who knew! ;-)
Ugh! I'm glad I totally missed Gone Country 2.
Surprisingly, she wasn’t the ‘bad’ one, or the one you didn’t want to watch/hear. That honor went to Sean Young. What a train wreck in so many ways!
Supposedly Hicks has a new album due out in February. we’ll see if it materializes this time.
I agree. I just Googled him and I got a page full of photos. Usually you can't find that many pics even after a singer has made it into the Top 12.
Google turned up thousands of results for this guy and he hasn't appeared on the show yet!
I'm sorry that he's sick, but it looks like he's well established on his own. He doesn't need to be on Idol, and if he makes into the semi-finals, he'll be taking a spot from someone who might not get a break otherwise.
----------PLANT
He was forced to put music on hold for several years due to a physical battle with the West Nile Virus. This was believed to have triggered an Auto-Immune Disorder which falls into the MS category. David, still fighting this MS and inspired by his father Alan, has dedicated himself to raising awareness and resources for Non-Profit Charities over the last several years.
Does West Nile do that and didn't someone say that his father has MS?
It's not even really Broadway. It's a touring company of Grease. It either was just in Chicago or is here now. There were commercials for it recently.
BTW, Mickey was my favorite Monkee.
Some of them are professional publicity photos, too. True you can get those on the cheap, but something tells me he didn't go the student photographer route.
Sort of speaking of Mormons, does anyone else watch Big Love on HBO?? I watched the first two seasons on demand over Christmas and am now totally hooked. I thought I would hate it, but I love it. I just watched last nights episode and can't believe what happened to Sarah!! I cried when Barb got her news (I'm trying not to spoil it for anyone who hasn't seen it yet).
I'm way too invested in these fictional characters. LOLOLOL
It was on Broadway, its touring now.

Mickey could be a good country singer. He did a darn good job the other night.
Okay, I'm laughing again :)
Hey, I just saw an Idol commerical--this is the last week of auditions! Hollywood Round starts next week :)
Shucks SJ, if President Bush included your sketches in his Presidential library, and then at a later time certain items went on 'tour' across the nation so others could see them, and your sketches were included, I wouldn't think any less of your sketches, just because they were on 'tour' and not in a fancy museum.
My wrists are officially slapped :)
I didn’t mean to ‘slap’ your wrists, I was just trying to point out that ‘tours’ aren’t always a bad thing. :\
I was watching a show on the History channel about pyramids and mummies that reminded me of when they had the ‘King Tut Tour’.
Yep. They shortened it up this year. :-)
If You agree than You agee with all of us lol,’cause we all said/typed the same thing(s),pretty much.
Nice plant pic re: the plant pick, btw!
:)
PS
I won’t be able to be Here on the Live Thread.
Not sure I’ll even be able to watch tonight.
If I do and can remember some stuff to type about it,then I’ll do that later.
Later! :)
Present for duty.
