Here is my request for next week Anoop doing Honky Tonk Badonkadonk. It couldn't get any worse than that.

Yes. That would be terrifically horrible. For some reason, I imagine a gigantic 10 gallon hat would be involved, too.

But you’ve got to see that Jennifer was WAY BETTER than Fantazer. All she could do was “screetch.”

Even the rendition of “Summertime” that the judges had multiple orgasims over was way over rated!

I’ve seen Hudson in Dreamgirls and that girl can sing! Fantazer....not so much.

That all said, I was rooting for Diana Degarmo after Jennifer’s departure.

I don’t think Simon would have saved Jennifer. He didn’t like her and was pimping hard for Fanatzer.

Last year’s Michael Johns may have been saved by this new “rule.”

Other than that, it’s pretty lame.

Dolly Parton - Jolene Allison or Alexis might be able to make that work.

So could Lambert....

I found a You Tube recording of Carrie Underwood singing “Home Sweet Home.”

There’s no video other than her photo but you can hear the whole tune. Outstanding!!

There was that one awkward moment backstage at the CMT Music Awards where Wynonna Judd was answering a question about you and then said that country music was ‘’getting a little vanilla.’’ Have you bumped into her since?
There’s no weirdness at all. We’ve had several long talks. I have her phone number. If I ever need anything she’s made it very clear that I can call her for whatever. It was just taken out of context. And people want drama, so they will create drama.

But you were within earshot when she said it, and it upset you.
Definitely. I was standing right there. Nobody knew I was back there, but I was back there. It was a big mess. I took it out of context too.

What about that Faith Hill fiasco? I’m sorry, but wasn’t it pretty clear that she was joking?
Oh, yeah. And half of the people got that. She called me immediately after that happened. I felt so horrible, and I even told her that. I was like, ‘’I’m sorry for what I’m sure is about to happen.’’

While I do think that Judd was sour grapes, I do think Hill was kidding. Just like when AI might say so and so got the most votes and we all say ‘What?, nooooo, that can’t be’. We say things like, being sarcastic because its rather obvious that he would get the most votes.

Yep, Simon always commented on her looks. I always thought she was pretty. She has such a clear voice. I liked ‘Circle of Life and other songs she did. She didn’t just scream and say yeah yeah like Fantasier.

I’;m so glad Broadway latched onto her and she won. Take that Simon.

I still don’t think she was joking. But thanks for Your info ping about it.

and my another reason not to like her comment was a continuation phrasing that Jonny pinged to me and someone else about Lil Rounds.:)

I guess I should have put the sarc on my post, but I wasn’t being sarc about how I think Faith reacted to Carrie’s win.

But I do like her, just fine.
But I think in that instant Faith’s reaction backfired on her and she backpedaled when it did. imho

Carrie has been very outspoken when she wants to and does so in that very article. I’ll trust Carrie’s judgment on this, since SHE is the one that was directly involved and KNEW is was a joke and felt bad for Faith, because she knew how it was going to be falsely reported.

What about that Faith Hill fiasco? I’m sorry, but wasn’t it pretty clear that she was joking?

I thought you’d like that. Do you know if that song is on her Carnival Ride CD? If so, is it a duet with Travis?

I wish that they would remove Dolly Parton’s ‘I Will Always Love You’ from the list. It’s an escape for those looking to do a Whitney Houston song. Ya hear me Lil?

We are all intitled to our opinion.
& if that is really what she meant than good for her.

I don’t really follow what they talk about in mags & I read all in your post except I didn’t open the link this time because I watched the show...Also I have heard Dwight Yoakam put her down verbally about her well earned/deserved success.

It’s just my opinon and observations as I watched/listened from my t v watching/listening.

I would imagine/hope so...it’s a goody!

I think Randy compiled a cd with duets...

I’m pretty sure all who dueted with him would want to place their individual duets with Randy on their own cd’s as well...

Another fun topic to reasearch!:)

If they do leave it on I hope Lil doesn’t put her nor whitney’s spin on it...

Dolly’s version if picked please:) from any contestant...Dolly version, plea!

They should all be reminded /made aware of the song originators If they don’t already know.

Dwight Yoakam put her down verbally about her well earned/deserved success.

That's probably who she was talking about very strongly on the article. I don't recall her mentioning names, but, I think she has too much smarts to do that. She made a mistake when she said that Tony Romo was still calling her when he was dating Simpson and being a class act she took responsibility for doing something dumb and apologized to Simpson, and said she hadn't talked to Romo since May when she had acted like he was still calling her in Nov.

I chalk that up to just being human and doing something stupid that young women have a tendency to do sometimes.

Maybe you can help me out here. I was trying to think of a song from gosh, probably the 70’s or 80’s. It’s country. I thought it might have been done by Waylon Jennings, but, I’m coming up empty on all his albums that I have looked at.

It was a slow song and something about ‘hands’

I know it wasn’t Johnny Cash, I’m going to look at Willie Nelson albums next, but, i’m pretty sure it wasn’t him either. Who else might it have been, from that time frame? I just can’t think.
