And the worst part for Tony is, I can’t really think of any reason he HAD to shoot himself. He wasn’t armed because he was a prisoner. It would be completely reasonable that the shooter would take out the two FBI agents and run without coming to shoot Tony.
Tony could have even come running back from the ally or something, to say he had chased the guy for a bit but lost him.
Because he said he was shot, it SHOULD have taken too much valuable time away from him tracking the search and telling the guy how to get away.
While I’m at it, the guy who got away is clearly a highly trained operative, so why is he also coming off like such a neophyte?
