Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.

I'll have to go back and listen again on Hulu...but I could have sworn he said 'blew up' Hodges. I bet the guy that Olivia initially contacted to have the job done never hired anyone and the money she ended up transferring went to him.

Jack is confined to a wheelchair and has to interrogate bad guys with a cane.Confined to a wheelchair, Jack sufferes from depression. But instead of a herion addiction, Jack develops a fast food addiction and becomes a fat guy. If interrogation with his cane doesn't work, Jack runs over their foot with his wheel chair, causing intense pain from the sheer weight of Fat Jack, forcing them to talk. Can Jack catch the bad guys while simultaneously satisfying his addiction? We'll find out on the next season of 24 : Fat Jack is Back

The season 8 timeline is 2 and 1/2 years from now as we ended tonight.....
There was no doubt Kim wasn’t going to save Jack. Cougars worldwide are rejoicing....
What I’m also happy about are the fact Ethan, Aaron and even Pres. all sent Bratola down the river without a paddle.
The imam thing stunk to high hell and had no place in this or any other finale timeline. That’s what we get when 62 million drones put stupid in the White House....
And finally......IZLOVE YOU FRECKLES!!!!

All Tony told jack was that he “had to take down Hodges” (to prove himself to top guy). I think he meant he led the FBI to him, not that he’d assassinated him.
I DO think, though, that Tony’s going to play a role in breaking Wilson. He must have learned a lot about Wilson’s cabal during his years of tracking him. I’d say he’s got a bargaining chip!

Good job GRRRRR with the pings. Just got home and read the thread after watching the show over the GF’s house. She never saw the show and was on pins and needles the whole two hours. I did miss reading the thread this week in real time but it looks like Jan. 2010 will be the next season.See you all around FR and look forward to season 8.....
