Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
OK, just so long as it isn’t Janice and Chloe.
Jack is saved by adult stem cells, becomes an Imam, converts the quasi Baptists at the Federal Penitentiary where he visits Renee on Wednesdays.
Cut to Chloe & Kim whose kids are having a playdate. Oh, did I mention they are wearing "my white is green" tee shirts.
Tony is the only one who hasn't lost his mind.
You’ve done a great job. Thanks for all the reminder pings, FRiend!
So the final analysis thru Season 7 is white, Anglosaxon, European extract men,who were corportate types (think Haliburton), captains of industry, men who were loyal military men (and those they hired for their security) have brought ALL of these last 7 seasons’ near-disasters to us. I think “24” is democrat all the way.
Thanks for your efforts. It’s been fun, and I’m looking forward to next season, or at least to this thread. See you around the Forum.
I LIKED this season. I mean, you can only blow up LA so many times.
Another plot twist left hanging: what’s up with Ethan and Madame Prez?
Thanks for holding down Ping duty!
Getting ready on the West coast!
But I dunno about getting on this thread til it’s over, spoilers. Been reading after the show though!
It seems so...I never take this seriously ..just fun. They almost lost my interest with the PC..lib dim writing..and the global warming promos.
It’s always been a fantasy show..and the PC makes it moreso.

Jack Bauer Is Gunning for NYC Next Season
By MATT MITOVICH
TV GUIDE
He who takes a big bite out of global crime soon will take a bite out of the Big Apple; A Fox spokesperson confirms that 24’s eighth season will be set in New York City.
Now, before you go buy bus tickets and only add to the glut of tourists who make evening walks through Times Square rather frustrating, know this: The Fox series will shoot the majority of its New York City scenes in Los Angeles, though hopefully with greater believability than Seinfeld did with its pristine and sun-drenched sidewalks.
Kiefer Sutherland will, though, lens a few establishing scenes here and there in Manhattan, to be spliced in throughout Jack’s next very bad day.
24 starts up production on Season 8 at the end of May, with an eye on a January 2010 premiere.
I got it!!! Turns out that Dick Cheney is Mr. Big. They find him in the VP bunker next season plotting on how to spring Olivia from the slammer. Jack is confined to a wheelchair and has to interrogate bad guys with a cane.
Thanks for the pings....I have ejoyed the everyones posts...
ROFLMAO!
thanks for doing a great, great job this season!!!
It might be interesting to hear what Rush Limbaugh has to say about this tomorrow. Now that “24” has abandoned the right it will be the equivalent of closing down Limbaugh (Fairness Doctrine) and giving his show to Air America (Gerafalo). Let’s see how they do without conservatives rooting for America. The would fold like a cheap suit.
First brat is gonna go free. Did you all miss where Tony admitted to blowing up Hodges?
You ask a lot from life.
heeheehee
There’s no way Tony blew up Hodges ....He had a White House FBI person do the job.
It’s been fun reading all the posts.
In spite of the quibbles and bits, it’s been a very good season.
I feel sad that it’s over.
2010 is a long time away.
