Ok folks here's the new thread for the new season.
.................................................................................Set in Washington, DC, "Day 7" opens four years after Season Six with CTU dismantled and JACK BAUER on trial. Bauer's day takes an unexpected turn when former colleague TONY ALMEIDA returns. Meanwhile, newly elected President ALLISON TAYLOR leads the country alongside White House Chief of Staff ETHAN KANIN and First Gentleman HENRY TAYLOR.
A national security crisis prompts an investigation by a team of FBI agents including JANIS GOLD, RENEE WALKER, LARRY MOSS and SEAN HILLINGER. Although CTU is no longer, CHLOE O'BRIAN and BILL BUCHANAN are back for another momentous day of shocking events.
Hi HC,
I had 24 dvr’d and just got through watching it. Love it.
Hope all is well in your corner of the world.
Cutting off the oxygen tank? Haven't seen something like that since Mark Greene discharged the paddles in midair while a serial killer died on the gurney in the 2001 season finale of "ER"...
Re #1453:
Nice...eyes!!!
I think he shanked it a little bit...
The only one I remember being IN the White House is Wayne Palmer...he never left the WH grounds, even though after the nuke went off, they moved him down to the bunker...that worked out well...
As for the other "days", never saw the first season president, Season 2, D.Palmer was in Colorado and Los Angeles, Season 3, Palmer in California, Season 4, J. Keeler on AF1 and Logan perhaps at WH...Season 5, Logan at ranch in California. So, yeah, the only one at the WH - convincingly at the WH - was Wayne Palmer...and he effectively died at the White House.
It's those damn "power saver" bulbs, probably...remember they were talking about making this season "carbon neutral"?
At work today, a tube bulb broke, and pretty loudly, at that...I told the lady over whose desk it broke, be thankful it wasn't one of those "power saver" bulbs, or else we'd have to evac and call in HazMat...
Actually, Tony didn't have a silent clock...Edgar did have one, in the episode prior to Tony's "death". I don't think they have had a silent clock in two consecutive episodes.
You betcha!!!
But anyone other than Jack saying "DAMMIT!!!" should probably only be half a shot...
AND he's happy to see him!
I’m pretty sure there was a silent clock at the end of the pre-season movie in November...for Jack’s missionary buddy.
I’m confused about this side story about FH and his son’s suicide. Doesn’t seem like that big a deal, but it’s the one link to this story that was included at the end of last season. I vaguely remember something about a shaky recovering druggie stockbroker and the president’s son (getting dressed for the inauguration)...oh wait!...wasn’t John Voight the bad guy?!
Can someone remind me? Did stockbroker guy get killed? And wasn’t the prez’s son dirty?
I wondered why they kept going to the woman and child on the plane during Sunday nights episodes.
Ironic that he may have sealed the fate with his actions.

The video footage is already up too, so you can go there and watch the 2 hours you missed. :)
yes fingernails in tact
Margaritas gone!!!
Agent Sean is too twitchy and scary (look how he freaked out Janis in the server room). You are right about the woman and child too...why keep showing them? (I know, I know...even in a plane crash, women and childrent hit worse). I think Mrs. Agent Sean won’t be having an easy landing...
Yup, Voight's the bad guy. He had the druggie stock broker killed.
First son wasn't dirty, he was just a friend of the druggie.
Of course in Garofalo's case this is called typecasting.
May I please be on the ping list for this thread? Thanks!
This question is for everyone watching...what is the connection between the corrupt African regime and the president’s administration? I’ll admit I was watching last night with only one eye on the screen, but I’m failing to understand what’s in it for anyone in the administration being in cahoots with the African country. Can anyone help me out?
Here is a hint, it’s called a ladies best friend.
