Parents upset after Merced elementary teacher asks students to shave his face Young girls say teacher had them shave his beard, then told them not to tell anyone about it.

Although the events occurred in the third week of November, a letter from Principal Nolan Harris about his investigation wasn't sent home until Dec. 12. It read, in part:

"As you may be aware, the last week before the Thanksgiving break, Mr. McLane had the class participate in a face-shaving activity with an electric razor as a story starter for a writing assignment. He later instructed the students that if they told they would not have a Christmas Party. Needless to say, that instruction was inappropriate and was not well received by several parents, staff or the Administration. On behalf of myself and the District, we want to apologize to the students and parents."

This teacher was using this "strategy" or "exercise" to recognize which students are easily manipulated and targeted.

I'm sure he has serious bad motives if this little experiment worked

“He was indulging a fantasy, IMO. And he realized it, or why would he have tried to keep it hidden.”

I think it was more of a fetish for him. One has to wonder what he did that night when he got home. I’d venture to say that if his computer & home were searched it would not be a pretty sight.

Sort of reminds me of that school district in I think Michigan that had a freshman homosexual indoctrination class and had students sign a document promising they wouldn’t tell their parents. Of course they did, or at least one of them did — not that it did any good because the principal said he would do it again.

What this tells me is that there are school districts that have no respect for parents (who pay these sleezebags their salaries), much less their students.

Check the creep’s computer at school and at home — bet it’s chock full of kiddie porn.

“When I was that age I hugged a female teacher once, do you think she and I should be put in jail??”

No, I think expressions of affection are very necessary for people, especially young kids. Holding hands, hugging, putting your arms around somebody, lap sitting - I feel for the kids who grow up physically isolated for hours and hours every day. It is not healthy or normal.

I don’t see little girls shaving their teacher’s face as being a normal expression of affection, however.

I am glad you got to hug your teacher. Few can, nowadays.
