This is a pretty cool house.
A quote from the article:
“The notion of someone selling a replica of the presidential mansion possibly to a buyer in Dubai is both humorous and painful to Atlantans, who are enduring one of the countrys highest foreclosure rates, which they attribute, in part, to policies that come from the real White House.”
I can’t believe the NYT included the words “in part” in this sentence. That is amazing. :)

Somewhere, in the back of my mind, I hear lines from “The Jerk” when I see this guy and his house.
For starters... “...it’s the stuffffff....”
Is the new phone book here?

Darn O'boomer could have bought that one for 10 mil, hired a staff, and played President (elect) and still had 20 mil left. (He is Still sending out donate e-mails)

Fred's house is about 2 miles (and millions of dollars) from mine. When he converted he joined my church and was a member of my mens small group. He is a true Christian that loves the USA. He built the house out of love and spent years researching and working with architects to get a perfect replica. It's not shown in the pictures, but there is a smaller replica of the old Executive Office Building to the right of the house. He uses it as a church and his mission is to help Arab Muslems see the truth and become Christians.
I kind of resent what he is doing in my neighborhood; tearing down beautiful 60’s split-level ranchs and building 6 figure McMansions. But it is capitalism at it's best. Most of his houses are sold before the foundation is poured and he is raising the resale value on my house.
