Lest I seem to appear as a nit picker, consider that there were two Inquesitions. The Roman Inquisition was the one that tried Galilio.
Had he been tried by teh Spanish Inquisition, his fate would have been quite different. Because the Spanish Inquisition was funded by confiscation of the property of the accused, all accused confessed, and lost their property as well as their lives.

I don’t know anything about the science but my take on the article was that he had accomplished something special. If what he’s doing is standard technique then obviously there’s no chance of a patent for the process.

If they can't tax it they can seize it. If they can't seize it they can condemn it. The gubbmint has figured out how to own it all. But those old techniques are giving way to a new (old) method. Bail outs! Give away everything you and the next six generations could ever earn.
It’s a fake. Just checked Snopes. Also, oranges are typically propagated from grafts, not seeds. I don’t think you can be sure of getting the desired results every time from a seed.

FWIW, the kid couldn't possibly have been driving a 1984 Aerostar. Was no such thing.
