In your opinion, a troll is someone who debates. You should allow for healthy debate and not the “I love Sarah” folks only. Of course it is your site but you are doing a disservice to her if you can’t see all sides. You should worry more about getting her elected instead of having her a rock star.

That's it in a nutshell with the Palin 'worshippers', as I have come to view them. If you don't fawn every time Palin takes a breath, your opinion is dismissed and you are labeled as a liberal or troll. Thing is, with these people, the attention span will probably be limited and by the time an election cycle rolls around and their enthusiasm will have been spent.
I guess there exists that contingent of fans with every candidate. Like you, I would like to see a civil discussion of the candidate, good and bad ... strong points as well as the weak. The candidate would be so much stronger for the effort.
