It's starting to sound like you're envious of Art Bell.

"It's starting to sound like you're envious of Art Bell." No. I'm not. If I ever started to sound like him my family would have me commited.

Well, if SunkenCiv can feel comfortable on an Art Bell sorta ping list, that makes it easier for me to own up to listening to Stan Solomon and Brother Stair via shortwave in times past. Glad you posted this. :-)

"Whatever ones view of Art Bells Coast to Coast I tell ya that show has kept me awake on many after midnight road trips." It is interesting if nothing Else. But too many people believe him. I have Sirius sattlite radio for road trips so my options are wide open in the wee hours.

THe blind fella who produced Castille soap was once committed to an asylum but escaped yet he is responsible for a lot of hippies taking showers back in the day.
And our family loves his Peppermint Soap.
If you get bored in the shower you can read the label too.
Supposedly it has 2000 words written on the bottle.

I predict that Hillary will be kidnapped by a small group of terrorists while on a mission for Obama. The wonderful thing is that we don’t negiotiate with terrorists and we actually end up paying the group to keep her. Throughout the year we will be shown pictures of her doing their laundry by hand in a small mountain stream. We can all do our part to help her by sending her our laundry too :):)

I’m pretty sure. Be just like ‘em to win on the road against Green Bay, just to confound everyone. Plus, GB is heavily favored, so the backchannel payoffs from the mob gamblers...

"I like star trek but I dont believe in klingons." Do you know what Captain Kirk and toilet paper have in common? They both circle Uranus and wipe out Klingons.

Why am I not surprised you were spawned from an uptight family?

"Why am I not surprised you were spawned from an uptight family?" Quite the contrary. We were taught to think critically and in a rational manner. That's why I concluded Art Bell is a crackpot. The same conclusion goes for Al Gore.

There are plenty of rational, critical thinkers out there who believe Art Bell is an honest and thoughtful man. He brings us interesting topics we can't hear anywhere else on radio. I don't agree with everything he says or believes, but I'm not going to compare him to Al Gore or call him a crackpot. That would be neither rational nor fair criticism.
To: Perdogg
I predict Art Bell will retire. Or unretire.

"But for reasons that escape me people listen to him. Must be something in the water."
Listening to Art Bell is like watching a soap opera. You know it's bad (very bad), but sometimes you gotta' watch anyway.
I just discovered him a few weeks ago due to insomnia. Sometimes, I wake up my poor husband because I'm laughing so hard at some of the outrageous claims made on his show. :)
