Do you realize the most effective publication to get this topic to the general public has been the GLOBE?
We can only hope National Enquirer picks up the story.
Pretty damn sad. We live in a country of fastfood TV crap “news”
And our politicians - my own in Georgia included - are proving themselves to be either stunningly ignorant or apallingly corrupt.
I’d love to hear effective ideas on how to fight this travesty.
Does anyone have a copy of that Globe issue?
Whenever TV and radio stations have to renew their license, they announce it to the public, and then invite them to submit their views concerning the station's performance and whether the station's license should be renewed.
I plan to write letters to the FEC every time a local TV station's license comes up for renewal, in which I will chastise them for broadcasting biased and misleading news from the morally-bankrupt, {insert name of news outlet here}, and are destroying their station's commitment to journalistic credibility, responsibility, and integrity.
You might get a kick out of Chambliss’ reply to me concerning an email about the birth certificate issue...
“Thank you for contacting my office regarding tickets to the 56 th Presidential Inauguration. We received an overwhelming number of requests, and, unfortunately, we did not receive an adequate number of tickets to accommodate the requests. I regret that we are unable to more favorably reply to your submission.
For the first time ever, the entire length of the National Mall will be opened to the public so that more people will be able to view the swearing-in of the President from a vantage point in sight of the Capitol. Large screens will be provided along the Mall so that viewers can better see and hear the swearing-in ceremony. For more information regarding events taking place the week of the Inauguration in Washington , please visit www.pic2009.org or www.inaugural.senate.gov .
Please do not hesitate to contact me if I may be of assistance to you in the future.”
To think, I voted for this man...
