Exactly, As our inquisition heated up from July -October, the level of pleas to forget the issue and move on increased 10 fold on this board.
There were many FReepers with ideas to publicize the issue or take it too the campaign trail.
Too bad we didn’t blow-off the campaign warnings and act.
Too bad we had the one candidate whose NB status was under scrutiny.
Makes you wonder if that is the ultimate reason why they wanted MAC so badly
as our candidate.

I’ll vouch for Old Sarge. If you really want to go back and look at his record of postings, including the pictures when he got his SFC pinned, you will realize he is a real patriot.

Raine, thank you - for once, someone who is at least a little courteous in trying to convince me to help.
It was the same during the campaign: “Support my candidate or you’re a gay idiot.” Really got me to think positively about their issue.
The simple fact is, the only way the Right can win right now, is not to lose. And trying to keep this SCOTUS stuff going is a guaranteed loss. The Right needs to pick their battles better. We are not fighting a culture war any longer; we are now an insurgency.

Thanks Arrowhead.
I will vouch for him too.
Sarge is a decorated Veteran, and a Dear FRiend besides.
He is no “poser.”
I sent him care packages from home while he was in Iraq.
Just think, he defended your right to be a horses ass.
You ought to be ashamed Tribal Princess and Caribou.
Too bad you can’t seem to disagree with somebody without attacking them personally.

Aloha Sarge!
What fine mess did ya get into this time? Look sharply!
You're going to owe me a case of beer, Sarge!
Aloha kakahiaka Tribal Princess!
Old Sarge is not a poser. He's an Iraq war vet who took excellent care of his troops in the thick of the conflagration and swore the same oath to 'Protect and defend the Constitution of the United States of America....' without reservation.
He may be a pain in the ass from time to time but he's true to his country and his countrymen (and women....persons....whatever) and he's my friend.

Posers will try anything.
FR can smell them a mile away. Get some Afrin, yer sniffer's plugged up. You may not agree with Old Sarge's position, but the last thing you can call him is a poser.
Old Sarge has more time in uniform as a commissioned officer than most FReepers have time as members of this board. And that was his first go-round.

In my opinion, there are some people who post online and use names such as sarge to give people the impression that they have served in the U.S. military. Every veteran that I know cares deeply about the Obama birth certificate issue and would never try to convince others that this issue should not be pursued. 'Every veteran I know' is not the universe of veterans. Accept the fact that some of us have opinions that differ from your sphere of experience.

TribalPrincess2U and CaribouCrossinging, in this case you’re barking up the wrong tree.
Old Sarge is a decorated Veteran, as well as a good FRiend, and I will vouch for him.
Thank you for your years of service to our great Country, and for posting on Free Republic, Old Sarge; we’re fortunate to have you here.

See, I kind of feel we need to go at this with two fronts. No DOUBT at all that we need to replace the Republicans that are bending over and acting like Democrats! We totally agree on that.
But also, at the same time, if there is a faction of the group who wants to pursue a possibility, slender though it may be, why not let them? I intend to multitask myself.
I do not think this should be the only one at the forefront though. I think this issue should be made aware to the public, but also not be the ONLY game plan. You know?
To: Old Sarge
Oh yeah, and you’re a gay idiot.

Now let's get series.....a lot of folks I work with are Green Cards, mostly from the P.I. Many others come from Micronesia but by law they're not required to register as foreign nationals. Hawaii has had a long standing history of allowing G.C. holders to bring in their immediate family and have their births registered in the state, even if they weren't born in the state. This sustained the plantations with contented labor once....and if it worked for the FORNATS, it worked for the Dunhams. I think this is the case with O.

Who's his daddy? Well if that's his Daddy, then is a natural born citizen, regardless of where he was born.
But that would be nothing to keep secret, so I doubt that's his Daddy as shown on his long form Certification of Birth. (Malcom X was born in 1925 as Malcolm Little in Omaha, Nebraska)

Yup. It would negate that whole issue, but only if the BC verified that. His mother may have put down her putative husband’s name on the BC, though it turned out he was a bigamist. And she may not have been very monogamous either.
There certainly is a resemblance...

At the very least, I cannot understand why someone would have aliases unless the purpose was to conceal ones identity for unwholesome activities. There are reasons. A pen name is an alias. So is your FReeper screen name. (I assure you my name is not "The Cat".
However the form doesn't ask about aliases, but rather other names the person might have gone by. Whenever I fill out security paperwork, I have to add an "AKA", because my father never liked my first name, and always called me by a variant of my middle name. Thus I'm "AKA 'variant'".
In Barack's case he should have at minimum put down "AKA Barry", but also probably "AKA Barry Sotero", maybe Barry Dunham, etc.
