I took the picture of this picture at Dave & Busters in Houston. It was in one of their banquet rooms along with many other stock, nostalgic pictures of New York.

What era were the other pictures from?

This one appears to be black and white, with some light blue overtones. That alone makes it look like a composite.

But, the aerial view could not have been taken before 1970-1971, because you can clearly see the twin towers of the World Trade Center.

Most all of the other pictures were of New York in the 40’s, 50’s and 60’s.

There was a pic of Marilyn Monroe with Joe Dimaggio, I think. One of Marilyn by herself. Another of Times Square. That pic with all the men/women in formal attire in a theater wearing 3-D glasses was there. One of Yankee Stadium. All of them were decidedly non-freaky, and then there was this one. All were in Black-and-White.

I didn’t ask the management of D&B for any info, because I seriously doubt they would have had anything to offer, other than a shrug and “It was here when I started working here.”
