I read the link in post 76 and it seems Northern Trust is both the borrower and the lender for this house. That means they could be making the mortgage payments to themselves and let 0 live there rent free. Shades of Chappaqua! I wonder what they expect in return for being so “nice”?

It certainly appears that way from the final paragraph:

Also interesting to note is that the mortgage document has the “stamp” of the Eugene “Gene” Moore, the Cook County Recorder of Deeds, dated 6/21/2005. The “borrower” is listed as Northern Trust Company as “Trustee of the Trust Agreement dated 5/10/2005 and known as Trust 10209″. The document has Northern Trust as both the “borrower” and the “lender”.
