champ must have been a very large body type....as you know having been on the job there are always exception to the rules..
I wounder just how many here actually not only had to pull their weapon but had to use it...
oh yea tap twice to the body and one to the head, I read that a lot on these threads...but under that type of stress I wounder just how many stay clam enough to pull that off...
I myself have been in situations in which I pulled my weapon but didn't need to discharge as the offender stood down...

Drew my weapon two times, both in NYC. Never had to fire but it was a done deal in my head, if you know what I mean.

Been shot at twice...once in Brooklyn (1975) and once in Kosovo (2000).
