If I didn't have to live in Colorado because of my job, I would live anywhere that there was no snow and low humidity, such as AZ. I HATE snow when I have to travel in it. If you only knew how many people around me love this miserable weather, you would be appalled. If I ever make it to retirement, especially doubtful now because of the CRAT-initiated (it is MOSTLY the CRAT's fault, but allowed to be blamed on the Republicans and was a false accusation that helped us to lose the election) economic disaster, I will try to move to the desert. It is so refreshing to see someone else that can't stand snow.
I do not like snow either. I think I’ll move to the tropics.
Mozie, I’ve been playing around with three “art” programs. Two are image manipulate programs, Paint.net and Gimp. The third is a drawing program, Project dogwaffle. I really like that program. But it isn’t for correcting pictures. It is a definite painting and drawing from scratch program. It makes me think of Bob Ross.
A snow soldier made by retired Staff Sgt. Rich Weaver stands in the front yard of his Slingluff Ave. home in Dover Tuesday. Weaver, 38, served in Iraq with the 1485th Transportation Company of the Ohio National Guard at Dover. He said he decided to make the snow tribute to troops because he knows it’s really hot in Iraq and he thought it was a cool idea. “Even Frosty supports the troops,” Weaver said. (Story from March 2007.)
God bless all of our brave troops, and God bless America.
Good night everyone.
I don’t know why, but your grumpy snow rant has given me the chuckles.
.. a blizzard for the day, and the next day watch the sun melt it!!!!..you know I'm right! :)
