Compared to over a million others, I got off easy, eastern Mass. got off easy with wind and rain that was warmer than everyone else got.

There were still power outages in the non-iced part of New England, but not nearly as extensive as everywhere else.

I had to get ready for a Boston Dr. appt in the dark and head out in freezing weather with wet hair and have a very slow drive into Boston, but it was only half a day for me. By the time I got home my neighborhood's power was restored.

Others in my town were powerless for 16-18 hours.

If you seen any of the icing photos in other parts of Mass, it looks like they were hit with hurricane wind with streets “flooded” with trees and branches.

Prayers for them.

Thank goodness your OK... I have relatives all over the state. How’s the Marlboro area? Fitchburg?

I hope you’re still okay, LJ. I really felt for those people without power.

I won’t even talk about our “Arctic blast” we are getting in SoCal, so easy in comparison to the NE.
