Don't be afraid, you can admit it;)
Facebook is MySpace for adults.
Nope and I’ve never even been to that site.
Just a thougt. The sight of one of us might be shot of Adrenalin to some. If it does nothing else It might wake "em up. You first.
I just googled my name + facebook and there I was. Except it isn’t me. Just someone with the same name. His life looks more interesting and he seems to have some good looking female friends. LOL!
Too many of these things to keep up with...
Twitter is a benchmark for Ruby on Rails ...
Mr. McGuire: I want to say one word to you. Just one word.
Benjamin: Yes, sir.
Mr. McGuire: Are you listening?
Benjamin: Yes, I am.
Mr. McGuire: Scalability.
Facebook is too intrusive. I use MySpace for music, LinkedIn for business.
I've always wondered how many converts a preacher gets when he goes into a bar to preach to drunks.
I've also wondered how many of those preachers end up as drunks.
No. I don’t see any need or advantage of such a membership.
I have been happily married, and falling over in love, with the same beautiful and loving woman for over 36 years.
She is why I take my next breath, she is why my heart bothers to take it’s next beat, she is my only fantasy. I read her poetry, I make her laugh, I comfort and protect her. When I look into her eyes, I see the same beautiful and youthful 20 year old I was blessed to meet so many long years ago.
Posting my background and photo in public, would just drive the ladies crazy and I would eventually be forced to hurt their feelings. I take no joy in breaking the hearts of so many women and I never have, it’s a cross I must bear alone, yet, it is still my responsibility to be fair to all of those beautiful creatures we call... women.
Besides, I don’t need a bunch of gays finding me irresistible.
No, I choose to live as a mystery, a cyber hermit of sorts. In time, I may post pic’s in my profile of my dog .... my other soulmate and guardian angel.
;>)
No, I don’t have your space. Your space is yours. I respect people’s spaces.
there is a freeper myspace group. I am on bother myspace and facebook.
Pretty much sums it up.
I have one. I wouldn’t allow my kids to get one unless they put me on their friend list and I have access to theirs. I randomly check theirs and if I find anything “questionable” I delete it and change their password for a period of time.
They get mad
but I am dad
They won’t be had
by a molesting cad.
I can’t believe that anyone would want to have one of them, it seems kind of stupid to me.
No . FR is better
I check my son’s facebook account. He leaves himself logged in, and I go and check on him. I also read his e-mail. I look at the computer history to see what websites he’s gone to.
With mom and dad both having degrees in Computer Science, our kids know they are not safe on the computer.
I just joined facebook, and I’m enjoying it. I’m friends with my nieces and they post a lot of their pictures. I got to see my nieces honeymoon pictures, and I posted pictures from her wedding.
My church has a lot of members that are on facebook, and it’s been fun reading about what my church friends are doing, and seeing all of their pictures.
Two years ago I went through a similar drill, looking for information about a dancer in the movie "Oklahoma!". To this date I am still getting sporadic offers from "Candy", "Tiffany", etc, who want to meet me. Evidently a lot of lonely/desperate people out there and no doubt a few hustlers and vice squad folks. All get the silent treatment.
It is kind of strange. I have some Facebook Friends I havent seen in 10-15 years.
