So, no, I haven't exactly recovered entirely but I have 5 days now to do just that.
The last 2 months have been incredible, I've never worked so hard in my life. Now it's the big push for end of semester juries, Christmas programs etc. etc. etc. But even all of that will be easier than working full time and running to rehearsals every night.
Prayers lifted for your peace of mind.
I am picturing our 2 kids over there, swapping stories over iced coffee, as JT suggested.:)
Knowing our boys will be there at the same time, for a few months anyway, gives me some small measure of comfort; we can be each other's "battle buddy.":)
Yes. We’ll guard each other’s back. I think mothers face special challenges. This Monday JT will be having his physical for Special Forces. I have no doubt he’ll ace it.
Hubby seems to have brought back a cold from Huntsville. I made him drink a glass of orange juice tonight and then brought him a bowl of cream of chicken soup with noodles. Comfort food all the way. I think he’s been in bed most of the day.
The rest of the day he’s been at the computer polishing up the music he’s arranging for our family ensamble. We have a flute, oboe, A Sax, T Sax, Trumpet/Cornet, 2 French Horns and a String Bass. In between the dinner and dessert, we usher in the Christmas season by singing and playing carols.
