For those that didn't see my post a week and a half ago, Mike Gallagher was talking on his radio show about where he had investigated a situation that he guarantees to be well grounded in fact.
Sears provides for each and every one of their employees that is called into military service leave the following: Sears makes up the difference in pay to keep their full pay while they are on military leave as well as provides their full benefits (medical, etc.) for up to 2 years. Mike recommends keeping Sears in mind when we do our holiday shopping this season and to look up someone in management while you are there and thank them for doing this for our heroes.
Craftman tools are close to #1, so I have heard.
Some don't like Walmart, but I find them to be very troops supportive.

It is a beautiful day in Hoosierland........but cold...no *now yet. I am ready for some *now after we return from PA for the Thanksgiving holidays.
I lead a pretty mundane life so don’t have lots of news for all, but I am like Toby, enjoy reading about everyone and sure do appreciate having this place to call my cyber home. Prayers for all of us, we can use them I am sure.

Miss Charlotte Rose is still recovering from her big surgery, and challenges me daily to thwart her every effort to undo her sutures.

All- I was just on Drudge and saw that silly (but dangerous) little zero man standing behind a podium with the sign “President Elect” on it. What is wrong with this man? Screaming “Look at me, look at me” ????? Talk about EGO. He needs to reign it in.
Limbaugh says the financial crisis is the CURE for the "crisis"....he's talking about the huge cost and meddling...

Speaking as the mom of a troop, I agree wholeheartedly. He worked there off & on for years and they bent over backwards for him. Even counted the year he was deployed as accrued time re: getting raises, etc.

Alan Combs leaving huh? GREAT news! don't like him at all and he would make a GOOD spokesman for Obama, he really needs to go there with ‘his kind’.
Not much going on today and I have been nodding a lot, taking little naps, read a few lines in my book, fall asleep, you know the line. Want to start on another book IF I ever get finished with this book I am on.
