Thanks NYer!
A newfound gate (bottom) in an ancient Israeli fortress has pinpointed the location of the biblical city Sha'arayim where King David is described as killing Goliath in the Bible, archaeologists said in November 2008. The discovery was made at the Elah Fortress (top) -- known as Khirbet Qeiyafa in Arabic -- which is located southwest of Jerusalem near the present-day Israeli city of Bet Shemesh.
