I have a book I want to recommend for all to get and read, it is ‘IRAN, THE COMING CRISIS’ by Mark Hitchock, paper back
and it sure will get one to thinking of the coming days.
Report on my ‘Bibles and religious novels for inmates’ project. First, am getting more churches to get involved and so far have delivered 7 boxes of the reading materials to out county jail. Next project, to get all the regional state prison addresses and start sending books to them AND, start contacting more states and get the project started there as well. Of course it is going to take churches, members of churches to get involved and be ACTIVE! In my police career I put many a man and woman in prison and some in the gas and/or the electric chair because of my arrest of them, times have changed, it is the needle now, still think it should be gas or electric chair but, that is the cop in me I reckon. I know that they too had a soul as do the inmates, why NOT try to reach them, I mean we DO take the endeavor to a ‘captive’ residence.
Think about it and approach YOUR church to start a program like this, it can mean the difference of a person going ‘up’ or ‘down’.
