Hi there! I'm a liberal, and I want to help you guys out. The fact is that neither side was particularly well represented this year, and in the interest of improving the level of conversation between liberals and conservatives, I thought I would offer to answer some questions and give some advice.

Second, if a little more opposition had been voiced about his positions instead of over-the-top horror about Ayers, Wright, and Socialism (Eisenhower supported a 92% tax rate on the rich, was he a socialist?), you might have forced Obama to defend these things instead of coasting to victory.

The MSM was so in the bag for Osama that he didn't have to defend himself against anything.

Sarah Palin and Joe the Plumber got a bigger anal probe in a month than Osama got in the past 5 years. All we get from Osama is "Hope" "Change". I'm still trying to decide if he is more like Jim Jones or Joseph Stalin.

Some of the graphics posted the whole world can see and makes us look bad and hateful. A liberal outed me and the rest of them ran me off an open forum by doing some of this crap. They didn't care what I had to say and why, just wanted to silence me. One person was willing to hear me out, in fairness, but the damage had been done. One put two and two together and tracked me to here and trashed me for that. Another was digging out personal information and posted it.

I won't unite behind Obama either because he wasn't for us. He's the most liberal on abortions and life issues ever. Sometimes I can talk to a polite liberal, but not now. No sense in going into his associations other than I'm still in shock over Ayers' book and dedication to sirhan sirhan, among others.

Can't you just put the insults aside, talk as politely as you can muster on such a sad day, and wait for the zot? Or just not say anything?

Wise observation. One reason why I would have voted for O if I had voted. I don’t think he could do much harm and being an outsider, relatively, he could do a lot of good. Plus, I became a Dem several years ago.
