Many of you do not understand what has happened.

Conservatives do not have a home in the GOP any longer.

McCain as the standard bearer, as a liberal Democrat, was the last straw.

Then Sarah Palin, a true conservative, was pressed into service and campaigned her heart out, and got stabbed in the back by the RINOS responsible for the GOP going down in flames tonight.

If it wasn’t for Sarah Palin, the electoral map would have been completely blue tonight.

The GOP is done. Finished. It has wanted to be the minority party and it now got its wish, for the next 20 years.

What have we got for 2012—Jindal? Boehner? Cantor? Who?

Who is on the bench, that the RINOS that have infested the leadership will not stab in the back?

No, tonight, was the end of the GOP.

Like the Whigs, it has seen the end of its days.

We need a new party, with conservative ideas and committed leadership.

In 14 years, the GOP wasted everything we fought to give them.

And they lost it all to an unworthy enemy, the Democrat Party.

Sorry—no more money to the GOP from me. No more working for a RINO, only because the Dems run a more and more left candidate.

No more Lucy pulling the football away from me.

It won’t be apparent for awhile, but if you know history and are perceptive, you will realize that the GOP can’t be fixed.

It needs to be replaced.

The GOP brand has been forever tarnished and vilified in the minds of the electorate by a radical left faction of the Dem party that was relentless in its attacks, and its lies, and in its complicity in the destruction of our country.

And the spineless GOP let this happen.

The GOP has no bench. The leaders of a new party will have to surface from people unknown to us now. And they will not win without a committed vision that is made of conservative principles.

All else is whistling past the graveyard.

As a conservative, I’m done with the GOP.

I only hope Sarah Palin will join a new conservative party. She was the only bright hope for us this year.

Think differently? Then ask yourselves why the GOP could not defeat a Democratic candidate with no resume of accomplishment other than his skin color, who had an idiot for a running mate? Ask how the GOP could not even defeat John Murtha?

No, the GOP RINOs are happy now—they don’t have to “lead” anymore. It’s done. They lost the White House, Senate and the House. They can be proud of themselves.

And they allowed a radical Marxist of unknown origin take the Presidency.

Mission Accomplished, GOP!

Third parties never go anywhere. It's a much better idea to reform the Republican Party and make fiscal responsibility, transparent government, and a reformed tax code priorities.

We've had eight years of Bush pumping up the size of government like a lunatic.

We need to be the true party of fiscal reform.

America is a two party system. Attaching ourselves to a third, fourth, or “any multiple thereof” party will buy us nothing but irrelevance forever.

Our nation is now populated by two basic groups... the real Americans and the Socialists/Communists.

The leftists have chosen their party and taken possession of it. We need to purge our party of the wolves and dig in for the fight ahead.

I looked at the electoral map. There is one continguous swath of states that are still red, North Dakota to Texas, with some few states on either side and deep south. East and west coast, all blue, always blue, they rule the rest of us. That ought to tell you something, and it's not all about race (some probably is), but the way society in general is headed.

There is no future in the Republican Party. I'm going to switch to no party and lay low. I can always vote as I please even if I am registered with a party, but that is not the point; I would never go Dem because of life issues and big government issues, and I don't want the Republican Party taking me for granted, not that I count for anything because I don't. I don't see much future for this country because the young people don't have a clue. The ones that do can't carry the whole burden on their shoulders.

It has nothing to do with the color of my skin, but I feel like I've been a minority for a long time because of the way my life has been, stigmatized for something that isn't my fault. So I know how it feels. I don't get any preferential treatment for it, nor do I expect it. I shoulder my own burdens; many of us do.

What percentage of the population has their salary paid by the taxpayer in one form or another?

Take over the Republican Party. Force the big government socially liberal RINOs to make their own third party.

I am all for it! We need a viable third party and Sarah Palin is a great leader. The Republican party has lost its way.

I agree that Palin and the Evangelicals should start a third party - after last nite, I want back the party of Lincoln, Eisenhower, Reagan. The social (religious conservatives) have hijacked our party and frankly, there is no doubt this country was afraid of going to far right. So yes, take Sarah and Bachman, we’ll keep Ridge/Giuliani/Thompson/McCain/Hagel/Graham and Pawlenty and we’ll bounce back.

Undermining the party is not cool. Rebuilding it is.

There will NEVER, EVER, be a third party that holds the same clout as the Rep/Dems.

Chose your side or get out of our way.
