The GOP has too many RINO's. It's time for a true conservative major party to form.
Sarah Palin can be the candidate in 2012. She is the only one who has a strong enough following to form another major political party.

I think it’s time for a purge of the party. The GOP needs to get back to being the Don’t Tread on Me party, the party that seeks to get the government out of your wallet, out of your bedroom, and out of your gun locker. The GOP needs to start selling itself as more libertine than anything else. Right now the problem is that the GOP is counting on affluent suburbanites voting their economic interests and it’s clear that is not a winning strategy in this country today. It is odd for a country that still has an affinity for being left alone that the big brother party is seen as a desirable political choice.
Republicans do well when we’re the party that thinks you’re smart enough to take care of yourself economically, but also when it comes to other choices in your life. There is no reason why the GOP should be losing people who are undoubtedly going to see their taxes increase by voting for the other guy. The GOP needs to find a better way to handle social issues.
I think the GOP does need to start stressing a defense of our constitutional liberties in the face of illiberal left wing aggression. The GOP also needs to start running down the Democrat brand hardcore going forward. When we hit the recession, it’s the Democrat recession. It’s the extremist Democrat Congress that wants to tear up the constitution to promote their radical left wing agenda. When Obama capitulates to whatever terrorist group or two bit dictator, the GOP needs to call him on it instead of playing the loyal opposition bit. If he does opt to use force, hang him out to dry.
One does not win in American politics by playing nice.
We are now the Reps in 1992^H^H^H^H2008 and the path to flip 50 seats lies in the certainty that folks are going to be disillusioned when they find out who Obama really is. We've already been warned his poll numbers will drop and his policies will be unpopular.
I would not have believed, watching in near tears at the announcement of Impeached ex-President's Clinton's presidential victory that we could have ever won the House and the Senate two years later.
How about if we just kick out the RINOs, which the Dems pretty much did tonight.
If these independents can get Sarah to join and lead, they would have several million new members immediately.
Well don't rule out Obama's ability to flip 50 seats in 4 years.

No its time to purge the moderates from the GOP.
No it’s time to purge the Republican Party PERIOD.
The party is a dead issue. Half of them are no different than Democrats.We need a NEW conservative party.
Palin is NOT leader material at the top of a ticket.
I have always favored a Parliamentary system to govern our country. That was each party (Conservative, Republican, Libertarian, Constitutional, Pro-life, Liberal, Socialist, Green, Pro-abortion, Democrat, Communist, etc, etc.) would vie for representation. Coalitions would form in order to achieve a ruling majority.
That is essentially what we have now in our two party system as each party is a coalition of various interest groups. BUT, with a parliamentary system when it became apparent to the people that the job wasn’t getting done by the leader of the ruling majority (ie. Jimmy Carter, Bush 41, Barry Obama) we would not have to suffer through four long years, but could force a vote of NO Confidence and hold elections in 4-6 weeks (not two year campaigns as we have now).
Some would say it would lead to instability as there is in Italy, for instance. But, I say why is it a virtue to be saddled with a “stable” BAD government for four long years when we can overturn it and forge a new one closer to the will of the people?
I doubt McCain Republicans would do well. We’re Reagan conservatives.

Even in this race, there were “more conservative” candidates in the primaries, but who voted for them? No one (hardly). Something was “wrong” with every dang one of them, youbetcha.
Then these folks, who couldn’t figure out which “more conservative” candidate was good enough to coalesce around in the primaries, acted surprised when a “less conservative” candidate won the nomination.
And they’re still betchin’.
The millions who supported Sarah are the Reagan conservatives.
You can count conservative Republicans on one hand. You’re certainly not telling me Bush is conservative ,or Mc Cain?I see little difference between MOST Republicans and Democrats.
It’s really about the only way that conservatives can shake the bad name that has been unfairly and at times fairly given to Republicans. You know, start over. Of course there might have to be a civil war first.
That makes sense. Just hand every election over to the democrates.

Conservatives do not have a home in the GOP any longer.
McCain as the standard bearer, as a liberal Democrat, was the last straw.
Then Sarah Palin, a true conservative, was pressed into service and campaigned her heart out, and got stabbed in the back by the RINOS responsible for the GOP going down in flames tonight.
If it wasn’t for Sarah Palin, the electoral map would have been completely blue tonight.
The GOP is done. Finished. It has wanted to be the minority party and it now got its wish, for the next 20 years.
What have we got for 2012—Jindal? Boehner? Cantor? Who?
Who is on the bench, that the RINOS that have infested the leadership will not stab in the back?
No, tonight, was the end of the GOP.
Like the Whigs, it has seen the end of its days.
We need a new party, with conservative ideas and committed leadership.
In 14 years, the GOP wasted everything we fought to give them.
And they lost it all to an unworthy enemy, the Democrat Party.
Sorry—no more money to the GOP from me. No more working for a RINO, only because the Dems run a more and more left candidate.
No more Lucy pulling the football away from me.
It won’t be apparent for awhile, but if you know history and are perceptive, you will realize that the GOP can’t be fixed.
It needs to be replaced.
The GOP brand has been forever tarnished and vilified in the minds of the electorate by a radical left faction of the Dem party that was relentless in its attacks, and its lies, and in its complicity in the destruction of our country.
And the spineless GOP let this happen.
The GOP has no bench. The leaders of a new party will have to surface from people unknown to us now. And they will not win without a committed vision that is made of conservative principles.
All else is whistling past the graveyard.
As a conservative, I’m done with the GOP.
I only hope Sarah Palin will join a new conservative party. She was the only bright hope for us this year.
Think differently? Then ask yourselves why the GOP could not defeat a Democratic candidate with no resume of accomplishment other than his skin color, who had an idiot for a running mate? Ask how the GOP could not even defeat John Murtha?
No, the GOP RINOs are happy now—they don’t have to “lead” anymore. It’s done. They lost the White House, Senate and the House. They can be proud of themselves.
And they allowed a radical Marxist of unknown origin take the Presidency.
