Now is the time for all men and women of goodwill to commit to praying for the president elect. God is still in control. Maybe he has humbled us. Maybe he has decided that we are too proud, too selfish, too...whatever.
Yes, it's going to be hard, but this is a good test of our character. Will we respond with hatred, bitterness, and despair, or with the eternal hope that our God is in control?
We have a choice. If you don't think that God can use a man like Obama, then your God is much too small. Remember - God's timetable, not ours.
I hope to see prayers for Obama's safety. His children don't deserve to lose their father.

The bible describes a time of extreme socialism. Where the government controls everything world wide. Even your ability to do commerce. I think we have to accept that it’s coming. Really, we shouldn’t be surprised.
He wanted to be called “Obama”, I’ll just call him by the brand name he ran his campaing under. No title of president.

Praying to the Lord about Obama as President makes me less afraid.
GOD is in control.
When I pray I remember that.
I also pray for each and every Freeper. I pray for strength and wisdom in how to work through this situation we are in.
I enjoy Free Republic and believe we are better than the hate filled Democrats we have listened to the last 8 years.
I don’t want to see my Brothers and Sisters, on Free Republic, filled with so much hate that they can not see straight or think straight for our future’s sake.

Defund the left. Pull the plug on any cable or satellite/dish television service you may have in your household. Otherwise you fund the same Big Media power that controlled public thought in this election.
I realize that it is impossible to avoid giving them any pennies (they are invested into publishing, home video etc.) but when it comes to pay-tv, you pay for CNN, MSNBC, et all even if you don’t watch them. Every month. Every year.

No you don’t get it!! This guy is a menace due to his belief system. Remember, his guide book is Saul Alinsky’s “Rules for Radicals.” osama, er obama and his wife frequently quoted this book on the campaign stump. Did you know who this book is dedicated to?

No one said to pray to uplift him. Don’t mistake praying for him with praying for his plans to succeed.
You could pray:
- that his heart be changed on abortion and other issues
- that he be guarded from assassination. the last thing we need is Obama as a martyr
- that God block him from harming our country
- that God judge him for his actions. look at some of the psalms, with prayers of judgement on unrighteous rulers. see Daniel, King Nebuchadnezzar

I believe that God chastises nations when they become sinful and America has allowed evil to flourish. From the slaughter of children, to the foul stink of Hollywood that we tolerate, to the greed of Wall Street, to the banning of God in schools and public life, we are no longer a righteous country.
We will receive the punishment we deserve. The question is: will it wake up America?
OK, how about this.
