WayzataJOHNN, Thank you for today's Opening Poem.
Reading it brought back childhood memories and
the memory of delicious smells.
Noone's chocolate cream pie could compare to my Gramma's. :^)
Thank you again.

So very Lovely!!
It does bring back memories. My grandma always made fresh bread and rolls. She would turn her head and we would sneak 1 or 2 and she would scold us. LOL

Nice poem, WJ. Thanks, Amy, for giving us so much to look forward to every day with your opening welcome to Amy's Place. Welcome back, Lori. That's one of your best. :) Isn't it fun to dress up the poem (or lyrics or quotes), too! :)

Beautiful graphic and poem, you all! You all can “smell it” and I can ‘almost taste it’. My mom was such an excellent cook. She made something similar to Apple Dumplings and she called them Stickies....the graphic and poem reminded me of that sweet smelling and tasty dish that my precious mother made!
Thanks~~~~

Awesome Grandma!! One of my earliest memories is Grandma putting her three grandaughters around the waffle iron and watching her make waffles for us!!
It has been a terrible day and boy did that memory give me stress relief.
We were her pride and joy!! Sob!!
