Who knows. Could be a UAV being tested at Ft. Polk or just a balloon. The Aviation guy has some creds though.
I always side with a balloon or the monkey did it.

Balloon. I've seen some like that flying over car dealerships on Bert Kouns in Shreveport. I've seen long cylinders and I've also seen these guys made up of several long cylinder balloons.

When I was a kid, me and my brother used to make ufo’s from dry cleaning bags and a little bit of sterno.
Launch them at night, and if you didn’t know exactly what it was, it was sure enough to make you look twice!
(BTW, I grew up in western NY surrounded by about 10,000 square miles of corn and wheat fields, so it’s not like we were doing this in Brooklyn or something)
