Seriously, tonights Auburn-West Virginia game looked alot better before the season started then it does now. I geuss we could say if youre having trouble getting to sleep you can always watch the Auburn offense.Yeah, I wasn't really thinking about that game when I wrote the threrad this week, since tonight is Game 2 of the World Series. Still doesn't seem right that the artist formerly known as the Tampa Bay Devil Rays won the AL Pennant. Don't get me wrong, they're a young team and a very good team, just seems surreal.

I didn’t even watch the world series game last night. WOW. When was the last time I didn’t watch the world series? I’m bummed out about the Red Sox losing.

Good work as usual Man50D.
One thing I was wondering is the status of Tyler Lorenzen. It’s almost as though the UConn offense hasn’t been the same sans Lorenzen.

This should be a fun weekend! Can’t wait for Saturday night.
The winner should be Big 10 Champs for sure.
Maybe John McCain makes an appearence.

Watching the WS? With the exception of the Phillies inability to get a hit with runners in scoring position. this has been well played. exciting to watch games.

I haven't heard anything about his status.
Its almost as though the UConn offense hasnt been the same sans Lorenzen.
That's a surprise considering he passed for only one touchdown and less yards than last season prior to his injury.

While I'm thinking of it, I do like Donald Brown. Seeing what I've been able to of UConn this season, I think he should get a few looks from NFL scouts, if he hasn't already.

I agree considering he's the leading rusher in the country but he is only a junior. He should also be in the discussion for the Heisman. How he is not even being discussed as the leading rusher in the country defies logic.

The 6-0 Huntingdon Hawks have a dang good football team too. They didn’t have a program when I went there, but we were back to back NAIA golf champions. Their golf teams are still the best and the pre-med program is second to none. The best thing about Huntingdon back in the 80’s was that there were 6 women for every man. I stayed in trouble and I ain’t no trouble maker.

Who says primetime television is dead? (Actually I think I just did, but anyway...) Right now on ESPN2, you can see all for yourselves the #12 ranked Boise State Broncos taking on the San Jose State Spartans in beautiful San Jose, California.
The top two teams in the conference right now, this may not be your typical WAC game, as both defenses are considered to be among the best D's in all the land. I'll make some comments during the game like always....

TD Boise State! On the blocked punt, Austin Pettis gets the first score of the game on a Kellen Moore pass.
Boise State 6
San Jose State 0

Just talked to my brother during that last series and the blocked punt. BSU thrives off of momentum and I think the way that this game was going, they needed a defensive or special teams play. They just got it on that punt block.
