Just say thank you.
W hasn’t marginalized the GOP he’s destroyed it. He turned it into a bunch schizophrenic politicians within his first two years.
Good thing W is not on the ballot.
“Neo-con” has too many meanings depending on who’s using the term. And so far, just about every use of the term is incorrect.
Go away.
Stop demoralizing people, just before the election.
OR IS THAT YOUR INTENTION??
Crawl back in to your foxhole Mike. The REAL MEN will continue the fight against Obama.
Voting none of the above gets you one of the above.
Here is what I said on a previous thread to people who do not believe the polls.
“Most of us did not believe the polling before the 06 wipe out. I am beginning to think it is over. I blame George W. Bush and the passive do nothing country club Republicans for their failure to lead, to connect with the average person to spend all of their political capitol on tax breaks and ignoring everything else. I blame current leadership for their unresponsiveness and their lack of any creativity or imagination.
The GOP should of figured out when Kerry came 140,000 votes from winning in Ohio that times were changing. After the wipe out in 06 they should of realized that their backs were to the wall. But, no they just stood there with their teeth in their mouth.
They remind me of the guy standing on the rail road track and sees a train coming down the track two mile down. he says if I do not get off this track I am gong to be squashed. A few minutes later he sees the train a mile down the track and says, if I do not get off this track I am gong to be squashed. A little while later he sees the train a half a mile down the road and says, if I do not get off this track I am gong to be squashed. A few minutes minute later he sees the train down the track 6 feet away and says, if I do not get off this track ....
We need new leadership and we need new leadership bad. And god help us if we ever nominate another son of a Bush for President the last two have been complete disasters.”
But go ahead and blame W if it makes you feel better.
Why don’t you just leave? troll.
Well, W kept your pudgy a$$ safe for the last seven years.
However, I agree that Bush has marginalized the GOP but not because of the wars. He marginalized it because he's the same type of squishy, go-along-to-get-along Rockefeller Republican as his father and every other Republican who has destroyed the party in the Northeast and West Coast. On economic policy, he is a Liberal, pure and simple. He has no governing philosophy. Like his father, he is not interested in building a conservative Republican Party on the domestic front. He is more interested in governing from the “center”, which means taking attack after attack from the Dems and turning the other cheek. His father did the same thing and we ended up getting whipped in the 1992 election too.
On the wars, Bush has been a great success. On the most significant domestic issue—limited government—he has been an abject failure.
W did what was right. Not what was good for the GOP.
Save your whining for after the election.
If Obama win, in six months, make sure your remind people how you voted ok? No wimping out now and saying, “Don’t blame me I voted for McCain” ok? In six months, be man and stand up and be honest ok?
” the GOP has been marginalized. ;has become the party of the “neocon”,
What does that mean?
A vote for 3rd party is a vote for Obama.
Who are you thinking of voting for instead?
Mike, with all due respect, and I mean this in a good way, you are a complete fool. Our enemies salute you!
My son and thousands of other GI's have spent the last several years in Iraq and Afghanistan, carrying out the orders of the Commander in Chief, while you and I are sitting in our safe homes typing away on our keyboards.
This year some people will, like you, cast a vote of rebellion in a fit of temper. You will leave the voting booth feeling self-righteous and proud of your choice. You'll all proclaim to anyone interested- I showed THEM! Throw em all out! Screw Bush, he ruined my party!
By the way- since you're so disgusted with Bush (as many of us are) please list the the actions you've taken to improve the GOP.
Meanwhile, back in Iraq and Afghanistan, are our fellow citizens who volunteered and swore to protect and defend the constitution. Come January, they will have a new Commander in Chief- one YOU will have had a part in choosing for them.
Someday, you may even meet one of these young people, may have to look them in the eye.
That's what you should be thinking about in the privacy of the voting booth on November 4th.
