the legacy of the W administration may well be that the GOP has been marginalized. ;has become the party of the "neocon", -- which is not a good thing.
I will be voting for an independent ticket
the one thing that this election has right is: it is time for change but the change we need is
++ NONE OF THE ABOVE
I'm not surprised to see such a remark on a board like this although I think it should be noted that anyone advocating Freedom and Liberty would certainly have a greater respect for the Freedom of Speech

Save your self-righteous whining for after the election.
Disagree.
You are wearing enraged blinders, you want your red meat. Channel it toward the opposition dammit.
Infighting has been engendered by the media assault on Bush—they have succeeded. As always they are the grand puppet masters, designers the new “world”. The mass narcotic dispensed to an idiotic, emotionally-led public.
Don’t be such a lab rat. it is hurting us.
I agree. This is a harbinger of times to come. Any republican, any free market advocate will be demonized by the ‘utopian minds’ of the media, in their push for “fairness” ( defined according to the left, ie, socialism).
I wonder why it is so difficult for people to see the human sacrifice that George Bush has been made. The target of a relentless, systematic and dishonest media with the ultimate tool at their disposal...a 24/7 moving billboard of sight and sound to manipulate the thoughts and feelings of everyday people.
The media is the ruler now. It is a very different country I fear, these days.
Screw you, who the hell do you think you are? You obviously are a small minded jerk that would see two pair in a hand of four of a kind.
Your presumption that I am incapable of deciding for myself is insulting. I don't even read the newspapers or watch the MSM. I can think for myself and I think Bush has done more damage to conservatism and the GOP than anyone in history.
I was speaking of The good Rev. Spooner, famous for his disarticulation - meaning one thing, but saying something entirely different.
But of course, applying Rev. Spooner’s principles to politicians - only with deliberate intent would create results of which Lysander would recognize.
The reason the Media is still king, is that all they have to do to effect MASSIVE political change, is to convince only 10% of the electorate. These same 10% are fairly unprincipled folks, I used to call them idiots, not so sure, but they are probably fairly unprincipled, or people with vague principles. Anyways, they are easy pickens for the MSM.
Truth is, I am ASTOUNDED that McCain can still win Florida, even with the MSM bias, plus the non-stop Anti-McCain adds. McCain is still getting 40+ percent at least, so all is not lost. Unfortunately, as I said, it only takes 10% to make a relatively massive swing...
Sadly, I fear you’re correct.
The change you want, may not be the change you get.
Crawl back in to your foxhole Mike. The REAL MEN ((AND WOMEN)) will continue the fight against Obama.

Ditto!
And last week/last month/last year/5 years ago,
if your area wasn’t recovering from a terrorist
attack, you can thank Pres. George Bush ... if
you have any perspective, humility or honesty.
I am not disgusted with Pres. Bush. God bless him .. I’m grateful he’s been our President in these times, and I won’t participate in replacing him and his relentless pursuit of our security as CIC with a Socio-Marxist.

Sounds like someone’s pretty full of himself.
C’mon ... off your high horse ... jeeeze.
incidents such as the burning of the Reichstag building, the bombing of Pearl Harbor, the assassination of the Archduke, and now the World Trade Center attack are a favorite means of generating an excuse to start a war
These events do not just happen; they are planned and carried out for a reason
So it seems we have not been attacked again since the World Trade Center incident. Do you really think this is because our opposition lacks the capability? Only a fool would think that
But consider this: if you poked a stick in a hornet's nest and a whole bunch of hornets came after you -- you might stop poking the hornet's nest
Consider the possibility that our opposition is policing itself, suppressing any further incidents -- in order that this unpleasantness not become a wider conflict ...
Something to think about
