Just wondering how FReepers are reacting to the debate. I didn't see a thread devoted to the second debate.

Will Der Fuhrer 0bama let us hold elections in two years?
he comes across as someone who downed an entire bottle of valium. it's downright embarrasing to watch this charade.
No. There will be a “state of emergency” by then.
And every bill I’ve seen that McCain got passed with another democrat was a democrat bill. They got what they wanted and McCain got his name on the bill so he could say “I know how to reach across the isle.” Sickening.
__ . ..__ __ ...
Weather is changing, all his injuries hurt, I know mine has for the last week!
Do you think McCain has a fear of Obama from his days as a tortured POW the same way a child that has been battered has a fear all their life of evil people?
That’s the impression I get. Maybe I’m way off...
Sounds like two freaking democrats talking to a bunch of whiners!
No defense from McCain on Capitalism.
No offense to speak of against big government.
McCain was on fire yesterday on the trail!!!...
WHO PISSED IN HIS WHEATIES?????!!!!!!
Get ready to wear a national uniform....and listen to four (maybe)years of guilt, shame, apologies, sacrifice, blame, socialist nut cases and foreigners telling us how we should live and act.
“MCCAINS HANDLERS ARE SO BAD - FOR THEM NOT TO HAVE PREPARED HIM FOR THAT QUESTION MAKES ME THINK THAT HIS CAMP HAS DEFINITELY BEEN INVADED BY OBAMA INFILTRATORS!!!”
i couldn’t agree more.
One thing is for certain: They will have been two years of extremely challenging economic times. And we all know that if the only tool in your ideological toolbox is raising taxes, the challenges will be greatly exacerbated.
Sure, he will. And they will have 100% participation and will overwhelmingly elect socialists.
sounds like employers are going to pay more of the cost. what a TOOL!
Good point. I guess we’ll know in two years. But what I really want to know is where do I go to get a ticket for the gravy train? If some don’t have to work none should work.
Sadly you are right. People don’t look behind the scene at the facts they just listen to the rhetoric and let’s face it the Dems are almost always better at that.
Town Hall was supposed to be McCain’s best forum - he’s getting trampled!!!!
Obama always makes sure to quote the bible as if he is ‘the messiah’
Anything that goes wrong under a Hussein presidency will be blamed on the “dumb” Americans who voted for Bush...The man could start WWIII, bring about a REAL depression and it will still be Bush’s fault.
The format produces a boring result. The best way to have handled it was the way Sarah did = forget the MSM “moderator” and talk directly to the American people.
So far the most effective format has been that by Rick Warren at Saddleback.
At best this is turning into another “tie,” and that is not what McCain needs.
Interesting question. The conventional wisdom is that, when facing incredibly difficult economic times, you aren’t terribly upset when the other party wins, since you know that their two years of failure will bring a flood of your party into Congress.
But I really believe that the Democrats’ rage of 8 years of GWB will lead them to view, as Job One, the securing of the halls of power by ANY means possible in the next two years.
