Frank Luntz on FoxNews had a foucs group of undecideds, evenly split between Kerry and Bush voters. At the start they were evenly split on Governor Palin.
After the debate they are overwhelmingly PRO Palin and almost all said she won the debate!
3 people said they moved to McCain from Obama, 1 went the wrong way.
That Fox focus group just blew me away.

I think Biden did well in an academic way but Palin was better. She connected more with the people.
I know guys in their 80s who look better than Biden.
Had to turn the mute button on when Fox started showing this focus group. Their comments make me nervous but it looked like a majority raised their hands when asked did Sarah win.

Yes yes yes. She did what she needed to do. She spoke to the people. She’s more than done the job of ANYONE McCain could have selected as his running mate. It’s not just about her disabusing us of the notion that she is not who we have seen in certain “interviews.” She spoke to the people about what they are thinking and feeling. She knocked the left wing media to the curb.
The pressure’s on Sen. McCain now to do better than his running mate.
I’m not slamming her its just that he has 35 years of hot air answers and she is more honest and real. You can slam my response but I am a solid conservative.

I was disappointed Sarah was not more partisan but just like with McCain, it simply is not her style. In any case I think she did well just by holding her own. Seems like she gave McCain a shot in the arm. This was a good evening.
Sarah took O biden to the wood shed. Sarah being Sarah is fun to watch.

Biden had a Scotch tape face lift.
She could have slammed him over and over again on how the government is responsible for the problems with the financial markets, health care, education. She should have pounded him about how he has been part of the problem for 36 years.
I cringed every time she blamed Wall Street. I know it's the McCain party line, but I hate it. It's not true.
That's what the MSM did when Dan Quayle cleaned Al Gore's clock in the 1992 vice presidential debate, which even some conservative pundits have forgotten.
